How to reach Jacksonville
Jacksonville sits at the mouth of the St. Johns River in Duval County, with the Atlantic beach towns (Atlantic Beach, Neptune Beach, Jacksonville Beach) 20-25 minutes east via Beach Blvd (US-90) or Atlantic Blvd. Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) is 15-20 minutes north of downtown; both airport hotels (HGI at 13503 Ranch Rd and HIE at 1200 Airport Rd) are essentially on JAX grounds with free airport transportation shuttles. I-95 is the north-south spine through the city — Riverside is just west of downtown across the Fuller Warren Bridge, Deerwood Park / St. Johns Town Center is south along I-95 at the Butler Blvd (SR-202) exit, and Baymeadows is between the two. I-295 is the beltway around the city; I-10 runs east-west from downtown to Tallahassee. Butler Blvd (JT Butler Blvd / SR-202) is the direct downtown-to-beaches east-west corridor — 25 minutes from Deerwood or Baymeadows to Jacksonville Beach. What's the difference between a jacuzzi, whirlpool, and soaking tub?
Jacuzzi
Technically a brand name, but used generically for any jetted tub. In hotel listings, "jacuzzi suite" almost always means a private in-room tub with built-in air or water jets. Heat is usually preset; jets are user-controlled.
Whirlpool
