"A 3.6-rated family pool resort on Soco Road near the Wheels Through Time museum and Cherokee road."
About The Hotel
The Ramada by Wyndham Maggie Valley is a 3.6-rated (802 reviews) family pool resort on the Soco Road resort strip. The property offers a pool, creek-view rooms and a value-oriented base near the Wheels Through Time motorcycle museum and the road to Cherokee. We flag it candidly at 3.6 to set expectations — it is an older property with mid-tier cleanliness and service scores (4.0 and 3.9), but offers good value and a family-friendly pool atmosphere. A pool hotel rather than an in-room-jacuzzi property. Guest reviews highlight the beautiful creek views, the heated pool and the peaceful mountain setting, despite the older property condition.

“Awesome place to stay!!! Very calm and peaceful. Beautiful river creek view!!! Amazing Smoky Mountains Landscape Views right outside your window!!! I had a balcony overlooking the creek alongside the Smoky Mountains in the background! I woke up to Majestic Elk grazing in the fields and alongside near the creek. I sat in the rocking chair on the patio while enjoying the serene sounds of water rushing in the creek. Wildlife and snow ❄️ lit the sky and a truly amazing white Christmas 🎄 highlighted our stay!!! This is the 2nd time I’ve stayed at this hotel since we loved it so very much!!! If you need a peaceful escape to truly unwind and calm your soul, then this is the place to go!!! Thanks for the great stay!!! Amazing!!! ❤️ 😍 💖” — Wes I., 5 stars
“I am very picky and my husband says im bougie when it comes to where we stay and after looking through maggie valley most all hotels were 2 star rated. I chose this one for the indoor pool for my daughter and I was NOT disappointed the rooms looked and felt clean the lady at the front was very nice and accommodating. The creek view was breathtaking and the rocking chairs are a fabulous touch compared to the basic plastic chairs most places have. We went snowboarding so the heated pool was great! I definitely recommend this place.” — Krissy C., 5 stars
“Very nice older Ramada Hotel. Well maintained, comfortable beds, good breakfast, heat and air work well. Has an on-site indoor pool which was up and running. Looked inviting but I didn’t use it. Great young owner-manager named Patel who had recently graduated in business from TCU in Ft. Worth, TX. Should help him continue to prosper with his first hotel. I highly recommend this hotel. Very good value at a reasonable price.” — John R., 5 stars

What guests are saying about Ramada by Wyndham Maggie Valley.
"I was a little skeptical at first because I had never stayed here before. I usually stay at the Comfort Inn or the Quality Inn when visiting Maggie Valley. However, I can honestly say this was a great experience. The location is excellent, right in downtown Maggie Valley and close to everything. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. One thing my family really enjoyed was the indoor swimming pool. The pool area was warm, which made it perfect for the kids to swim and enjoy themselves, especially on cooler days. Ms. Kay was also very pleasant to talk to. She went above and beyond to help with anything we asked and truly made us feel welcome. Overall, I was very pleased with our stay. Based on the location, amenities, and overall experience, I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again."

Not sure what room cost yet it was a spur of the moment stop and they actually had a concert going on, I see the rooms are fairly priced at $55-60 so hopefully my room isn’t to expensive. I only see the deposit for my puppy so far which is absolutely great, it’s $50! Love Maggie Valley and will be back!"
