What Guests Are Saying

“My wife and I stayed here for a couple of nights in early February while we visited friends and went to the Biltmore Estate for the candlelight tour. We stayed in the Rose Room. Very good sized room and huge bathroom, all decorated very nicely and traditionally for the period of the house, with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was quite delightful and made new friends. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, with great recommendations for lunch and dinner. Location was perfect for us - 15-20 minute walk to the heart of downtown. Located in a quiet and very walkable neighborhood. And the Inn itself was very peaceful as well, despite it being pretty full. Very interesting history of the house itself as well. Would gladly stay here again!” — Faros, 5 stars

“This inn is simply perfect! We stayed on our way to Nashville and then back again several days later. Greeted by Sara, who is darling …we walked up a wide staircase to our room the Theodore Davidson. A queen bed extremely comfortable and a superb bathroom with large soaking tub( yes a step up) and robes. After a great night sleep a yummy breakfast of continental +++. Coffee, breads, bagels muffins, yoghurt great granola and juices. Perfect! Quiet, comfortable and extremely clean. Our return was the same room by choice. We have stayed at many other inns in this area over the years…but Beaufort is our number 1 choice for now. Also a simple but delicious dinner at Strada.” — Andrea M., 5 stars

“Beautiful inn, great location, friendly and professional staff. We really liked the cottage rooms. Very comfortable, clean and quiet. Neighborhood great for walking. We walked up the hill to the Grove Park Inn for Christmas dinner, took about 33 minutes at a brisk pace for a physically fit family. I highly recommend the Beaufort House Inn.” — MFH19, 5 stars

"My wife and I stayed at the Beaufort House August 12-14, 2025. It was a most comforting and fulfilling stay. Although I suspect that they are having to run on a bare minimum of staff, it did not show in the condition of the Dogwood Cottage in which we stayed or the appearance and warmth of the main house. This is a venerable place that is nonetheless kept in prime condition, and our 'cottage' was snug, clean, quiet, and had plenty of plugins and strong wifi. This is not a place trying to show off, but rather one that makes you feel at home. Hats off to Sarah and Amber!"

"I had a great stay at this beautiful and charming B&B. It's tucked away in a quiet neighborhood but close and convenient to downtown. The gardens on the property are lovely. My room was spacious and the bathroom had really soft towels and a huge clawfoot tub plus access to a private balcony. The bed and sheets were comfy and clean. The B&B provides a sheet with local restaurant recommendations and a history of the house. The morning breakfast was light but featured local coffee, bagels, fruit and juice. Check-In and checkout were quick and easy. I would absolutely recommend this beautiful spot to anyone staying in Asheville."
