"I gave 5 stars because our stay was pleasant, reasonable, and it was very quiet. The only negative things I have to say is it's a bit outdated, the rug looked like it was filthy and from the 19th century, the water in the shower didn't get hot but it was warm enough to deal with, the bathroom was a little small, the parking lot was sooo tiny and barely accommodates larger trucks (we were in a 2026 GMC Sierra 4x4 and struggled to park at night time) and the bed was a little weak at the foot. I thought I'd broke it when I sat down on it, but the frame was just stretched to the max. However we would stay here again, no doubt. The creek was nice, the grounds were very clean and quiet, and all in all the hotel room itself was super clean. The indoor pool was nice although we didn't use it. There aren't many places to eat after 6pm, so if you want to do dinner, you better grab it early or you'll have to go to a bar and grille or drive about 20 minutes to Cherokee to find food. This town shuts down at 7pm then it's Ramen in the microwave for dinner! But it is nice and worth the stay! Highly recommend! Oh, can't forget the staff at this hotel! They are all so friendly and accommodating! It is also surrounded by beautiful mountains!"

The outdoor area behind everyone's rooms is really cool and beautiful. Having the back porch screened in is nice too for All seasons. When we needed some help with something. The lady working there at check-in was very friendly and helpful. And even though it's an older place, the rooms have very comfortable beds and high quality amenities. We would definitely stay there again"

The handheld shower was a huge plus that I love you don’t find in most places also also great set up the toilet and shower are in a separate room from the sink and vanity makes it great for a couple one can take a shower while the other shaves or does makeup really neat. I stayed in a room with a porch on the creek. The interesting thing about your porch is it’s totally private walls between you and your neighbor. Highly suggest you pony up for this option. Of course the sound of the creek is wonderful. The set up outside on the creek is wonderful. Just check out other reviews and pictures. You will see. Also you can walk right across the street to one of the best breakfast places you’ll ever eat at called Joey’s. Note: no pets"
