What Guests Are Saying
“We stayed here for 2 nights with our dog. The property is nice with an inviting pool. Our room was a good size. It was very clean and stocked with what we might need. The continental breakfast was above average. It consisted of Eggs, biscuits and gravy, potatoes, cereals, muffins, bagels, waffles, oatmeal, and yogurt with your choice of 3 fruit toppings. Fresh fruit was also available. All of the staff was very pleasant and informative. But beware: in the back where the dog park is located, there were 3 bears (mom and 2 cubs) and they were too close for comfort. We just happened to see them as we were taking our dog to the dog area. I know bears are plentiful in Asheville but I think there should be signs to at least alert people that aren’t from there. But overall, we were very pleased with the area and will stay there again in our next trip to Asheville.” — K F., 5 stars
“We loved this Best Western Asheville - Blue Ridge Parkway. It may have been the best budget hotel we’ve stayed at over the course of 3 long road trips and over 40 hotels. The view, setting, and appearance of this hotel is awesome, but I’m just getting started. The price is extremely reasonable. We had a super friendly check-in, in which we were given a little gift bag with bottled water. We also found small water bottles and mints in our room. Our room was large and clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower and internet were okay. This hotel gives a lot of attention to detail, and you can tell. Breakfast is in the lobby, separated from the rooms and you need your door key card to get in. We thought that was a great feature. Breakfast was awesome and was also the best on all three of our road trips.” — janalyn686, 5 stars
“This is our new Asheville Hotel go-too! Wonderful 4 day stay. Close to downtown Ashville. Dylon and Joe at front desk over and beyond for help, information, and directions. The entire facility is pristine from grounds to rooms. ( not one cigarette butt visible anywhere). The breakfast staff diligently made sure buffet foods warm and plentiful without asking making it a great start of our day. The pool area lovely and inviting. Special treat to be able to use neighboring hotel indoor pool and exercise room. Our room had superb working refrig and microwave which we used daily. This is a wonderful place and until now have stayed at no hotels a second time. So glad we found Best Western on Blueridge Parkway.” — Sue B., 5 stars

What guests are saying about Best Western Asheville -Blue Ridge Parkway.
"The staff was great but the experience overall was not good. We chose this location due to the proximity to an event venue and ability to get a room with a jacuzzi tub to celebrate our anniversary. From the time we got into the room we noticed most features were not working. Hair dryer mainly and no hot water in the jacuzzi tub which we were so excited for. We left for our event and figured we'd try the tub when we got back. Still no luck but it was late and figured we'd try again in the morning as we had paid extra for a late checkout. By the next morning the hot water still wasn't working so we let the front desk know and they sent maintenance. Maintenance said someone had turned off the hot water heater/boiler and he had turned it back on and to wait 10 minutes. We did and finally got some hot water! Tub was almost a third of the way filled when the hot water stopped again. At this point we were just extremely frustrated and disappointed and took a lukewarm bath essentially. The upgrade for the jacuzzi tub was an additional $40+ and the late checkout was $25. At that price we could've spent two nights in a different, just as nice room with amenities that actually function correctly. UPDATE: I have changed my review to 5 stars to reflect the prompt, professional and kind response from the manager, Hazel. She not only refunded us the fee for the late checkout but was even kind enough to send us an Amazon gift card as an apology for the issues during our stay. What an absolute breath of fresh air dealing with someone who takes service and guest happiness seriously. We would absolutely give them another chance because of this. Best Western, you're very fortunate to have such a wonderful general manager who clearly takes pride in her job and training her staff to execute the same level customer service. 👏 Very impressed."

My new favorite stay in Asheville. The only minor complaint is people outside of rooms smoking cigarettes. The smell travels into the room and they were dropping the butts on the ground in front of the doors. Smell would travel into room. Amazing value!"

View on Google"Pros: Clean comfortable rooms with nice amenities. Very good complimentary breakfast. Excellent biscuits, waffles, sausages, and delicious berries. They even have fresh milk for your coffee. For an extra $25 you can get late check out at 2pm. Cons: Overall the breakfast was truly great, except for the scrambled eggs. They seemed like they were made from powdered eggs. I thought the late check out was a good idea, until the front desk called to tell us it was time for us to leave. We explained that we had paid for late check out. They realized the mistake and apologized. No big deal. 30 minutes later, a maid knocked on the door wondering why we were still there. If I stayed here again, I would remind the front desk staff that I had late check out, AND put a sign on the door for the maid in English and Spanish. I enjoyed my stay and would be happy to return."
