Daytona Beach sits on the Atlantic Coast in Volusia County, 90 minutes northeast of Orlando via I-4. Daytona Beach International Airport (DAB) is on-site next to the Speedway with limited connecting service. Orlando International Airport (MCO) is about 90 minutes southwest and offers far more direct flights — most travelers fly into MCO and rent a car for the drive. The oceanfront is a car-driven strip along South Atlantic Avenue — the beach itself is drivable in most sections (buy a beach-driving permit at the entrance), and the Speedway is 3 miles inland via International Speedway Boulevard. US-1 and I-95 run parallel to the ocean strip for through-traffic. During Speedweeks, Bike Week and Biketoberfest, traffic gridlocks along Atlantic Avenue and International Speedway Boulevard — plan drive times generously and expect closed roads near the track on race days. What's the difference between a jacuzzi, whirlpool, and soaking tub?
Jacuzzi
Technically a brand name, but used generically for any jetted tub. In hotel listings, "jacuzzi suite" almost always means a private in-room tub with built-in air or water jets. Heat is usually preset; jets are user-controlled.
Whirlpool
Functionally identical to a jacuzzi — water jets circulate heated water for a massage effect. The term is more common at Marriott, Hilton, and Wyndham brands. Most "whirlpool suites" hold two adults comfortably.
Soaking tub
