About The Hotel

Holiday Inn Resort Daytona Beach Oceanfront by IHG is a 4.5-rated (2,837 reviews) mid-market oceanfront pool resort at 1615 South Atlantic Avenue — on the south stretch of the Daytona Beach strip. Amenities include a pool, direct beach access, the H2O on-site restaurant reviewers repeatedly call a ‘must-do,’ game room, fitness center, Saturday-evening live music and clean ocean-view rooms. Subratings run 4.6 cleanliness, 4.6 location, 4.5 rooms, 4.6 service, 4.5 sleep quality and 4.4 value across 2,837 reviews. Recent 5-stars praise servers Cat, Martin, Mike, Shannon and Jen at the bar; the candid flags are ‘horrible’ in-room coffee (worth skipping) with no lobby-coffee option in the morning, and parking that ‘needs work.’ A value-focused oceanfront alternative to the Hard Rock — same beach, less-polished amenities, IHG loyalty and better pricing.

What Guests Are Saying

“I had to drive from SC to Daytona for a family emergency. I originally booked a room nearby and was so unhappy that I called here and asked if they had a room available at 9:00 at night. Jordan was amazing and told me to go ahead and come in. When I arrived Jordyn and Nancy were so empathetic to what I had just experienced as well as my situation with my sister being in the hospital. They got me in an amazing room where I felt safe as a Solo Traveler and I felt pampered because of the amenities in the room. When I woke up early to get ready to go deal with stuff at the hospital, I was able to sit on my private balcony and witness my very first sunrise. Jordyn was there when I checked out as well and I just cannot speak well enough about how welcome I felt. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back” — Navigator57503966014, 5 stars

“Awesome experience! Nancy the front desk manager was amazing in getting my family checked in. Her professionalism and efficiency in handling mulitiple guest on the busy 4th of July weekend was impressive. Monica and Christian greeted me in the morning and suggested a fabulous coffee spot. Justin the Gen. Man. was proactive in handling a minor issue .His sincere apology was heart felt. Kian and Jennifer two other managers also left impression on my family. My family talked about our stay all the way back to South Carolina. Thank you Holiday Inn Daytona. We WILL be back.” — Gregory B., 5 stars

“This hotel offers excellent customer service and friendly staff. The rooms are clean and have an ocean view. The price is reasonable for the amenities provided. On Saturday evenings, they have a musician perform. There’s also a pool, splash pad for kids, and several outdoor activities like chess, corn hole, and connect four. The hotel is conveniently located just a 15-minute drive from the airport and is within walking distance of a mile to the boardwalk.” — Leanna W., 5 stars

"Great stay overall !! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well located. I accidentally booked a handicap-accessible room, but the receptionist was incredibly helpful and kindly moved us to a beautiful room with a great view. Really appreciated the excellent customer service and smooth handling of the situation. Would definitely stay here again.."

"Stayed at this hotel for the 2025 Daytona Bike Week. The hotel is nice with a resturant. As with many beach hotels it is a bit aged. Rooms were Clean and quiet. The Resturant had good service and a wide offering of food. Parking is tight especially if you bring a trailer but they accommodated with parking across the street in an empty lot. There is a resort Fee 35.00 ish per night that covers parking and internet, I assume. It is a fair price as compared to trying to park other spots."

"Room is a little dated, but clean and comfortable. Premium rooms are more updated. We got the 6th floor facing the ocean and the view is spectacular. We caught a little bit of view the New Year's eve fireworks at the pier. Location is great, steps to the beach but not on the main strip. Room walls were kind of thin, we can hear sounds from the room next door."
