Recent candid 1-star flags include an August 2026 review reporting dirty floors under moved furniture (‘walking in bare socks, socks were black in minutes’), an August 2026 frequent-guest complaint that ‘new management has totally ruined a once decent hotel and hired some of the nastiest,’ a review recounting the hot tub water declining under new management, and one April 2026 Room 101 report of hotel staff entering a locked deadbolted room without knocking (violating a doorstop-secured guest privacy). These are honest flags against 875 reviews averaging 4.4 - most stays remain strong. Best for Marietta cross-river visitors, Blennerhassett Island historic tourists, Grand Central Mall shoppers, Fenton Art Glass Trail fans, business travelers on I-77 and family visitors wanting a solid chain-hotel base for the Mid-Ohio Valley confluence of the Ohio and Little Kanawha rivers.

What Guests Are Saying

“The hotel was very centrally located to shopping, family, friends, and restaurants Everything at the hotel was top notch. Fixtures and furnishings were new, rooms were pleasant, extremely clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Although we did not use it, the indoor pool looked wonderful and we saw an outside fire pit with a gas grill for use by guests. We traveled with our dog and although there was an extra fee for pets, there were no problems and we felt our pet was very welcome. The first night we were there they had warm cookies available to the guests at the check-in counter. The beds were very comfortable, and the pillows were heavenly. We did not try the breakfast, but there was a very nice choice of breakfast items available free to guests. I highly recommend this hotel for a safe, comfortable drama free stay” — buckeye62Columbusoh, 5 stars

"Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone passing through the area. Girl at the front desk was very nice and professional. Room was clean and spacious. Excellent breakfast with eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy. Pool and hot tub were clean and well stocked with towels. Good location with many restaurants within 1 to 2 miles."

"This was an excellent hotel. It has been newly remodeled. The hotel lobby to include the eating breakfast space, the hallways, and elevator were much larger than most of the hotels we’ve stayed in on our three week trip. The room we had was twice as big as any room we’ve had on this trip and we have been staying in 3 to 4 star hotels. Our bathroom looked brand new with a walk-in shower and our beds were perfectly comfortable. We were extremely pleased with our hotel selection and would highly recommend and certainly stay here again."
