What Guests Are Saying

“Tabby was an amazing host , she went above and beyond her way to make sure we had everything we needed to get into our room. The location wasn’t to far out of its way it sits in a pretty nice area off the main highway the hotel was very clean they served breakfast the following morning . The lady in the kitchen that morning shift done the best she could to make sure the kitchen stayed stocked and tables were wiped off for the next person to sit down . I really enjoyed my stay it was a very nice hotel and the best is always last they had a indoor swimming pool which was very relaxing 😌 I was extremely satisfied and my boyfriend and I will be booking another stay for future reference the DM needs to keep tabby in mind for any future raises they may come available she did everything she could to make our stay at the Country Inn very pleasant We will be back soon to see Miss Tabbie Thanks for everything you do girl” — Samantha C., 5 stars

“We needed to get off the road and stopped here. The front desk clerk was very friendly and offered us water. The room was older but clean and quite large. It was a bargain for what we paid. The front desk called to confirm everything was good and did we need anything. Breakfast was good and they gave us water for the road home.” — Escape788973, 5 stars

“Excellent staff, super friendly and welcoming. Very comfortable bed. Hotel was packed due to hurricane issues and staff dealt with it amazingly!” — Jared247, 5 stars

"Excellent staff! Very clean property and rooms kept up well by staff who are also very friendly and helpful. Felt truly like a guest, and not just a customer. Good location for our Winterplace ski trip. It is a value hotel, but we were blown away by the service, clean and decent sized rooms, good amenities, nice little indoor pool, and one of the better complimentary breakfast buffets. We especially enjoyed the cookies, hot cocoa, and coffee station open all day - perfect after a day of skiing or snowtubing!!!"

"We have stayed at this hotel multiple times when coming to WV to ski at Winterplace when we were unable to secure a ski in/ski out. Its about a 25m drive to Winterplace, which is totally doable. They offer free hot breakfast...which is decent for free hot breakfast. But what we absolutely LOVE is coming back to the hotel from a full day of skiing and there in the lobby is complimentary chocolate chip cookies, bottles of water, popcorn and other individual bagged goodies that are grab and go."

"One of the best mid-range hotels I've stayed in in a long time. New clean, well maintained and the desk manager Matthew was extremely helpful and friendly. Cookies! Snacks! The kicker was that about 15 minutes after I got into my room and was settled in thete was a strange ringing noise. I investigated and discovered it was the hotel phone ringing. I haven't received a call at a hotel in probably a decade. When I picked it up, it was Matthew checking to see that I found everything okay. The room is suitable and everything was all right! Wow! Fantastic! I will definitely stay here again if I have the opportunity in Princeton West Virginia."
