What Guests Are Saying

“Country Road Cabins is the BEST! We stayed in Moonshiner, (my wife and I) and even though my expectations were high, it was even better! It was bigger on the inside than I thought, the views were stunning! It was so calm and peaceful and relaxing. We LOVED the HOT TUB, it was so big and warm and comfortable. The kitchen has everything we needed and was modern and clean and kept up-to-date / well maintained. The temperature was easy to control, and so was booking this little weekend vacation. They make it so simple, and quick and easy to book at Country Road Cabins, we would definitely stay there again, and if I can convince my wife (although I don’t think she’ll need too much convincing) we’ll be coming back again, soon. - Daniel, London, UK.” — Daniel R., 5 stars

“From the very first phone call to our final check out, everything about this place was great! The people working there truly cared about our time spent there. Our cabin (Mountaineer) was exactly as advertised - in fact, it was even better! Clean, comfortable, cozy & quiet. Absolutely no complaints. Plenty of towels, hot water for showers. Ideal setup for 2 couples traveling together or families. They welcomed our pup. Did we mention how nice everyone was?? The grounds were pretty, well maintained and serene for taking a walk. Very convenient to New River Gorge National Park which was beautiful! Highly recommend this place!!” — PG-NY, 5 stars

“We found Country Roads Cabins to be a wonderful place to stay. The location was very convenient to the area attractions. The staff was very helpful in giving suggestions on what to see and do as well as recommending great places to eat. Our cabin was very clean, the property is extremely well maintained, furniture in excellent shape, and the setting is quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed a campfire in the fire pit by our cabin, the staff delivered the wood while we were out exploring. We can recommend Country Roads Cabins without reservation, if you stay you will not be disappointed.” — Hiker_2337, 5 stars

"My girlfriend and I stayed in the Holly Rock Treehouse for our anniversary! What a unique and romantic place to celebrate! The treehouse is in a perfect location in a corner of the property where you can enjoy your hot tub, porch, and treehouse privately; while also being just a few minutes from the lobby if you need anything. The other cabins we saw as we drove through the property also look incredibile! The staff was so helpful, friendly, and communicative through our stay, and went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome and had the perfect anniversary! The romantic and birthday packages they offer are top notch, and they’ll have everything set up for you upon arrival! Also the property is just a few minutes away from Fayetteville and New River Gorge National Park! An incredible stay, we are already looking forward to coming back!"

"NO COMPLAINTS! Me and my husband stayed in the geodome for our first trip to WV and it was one of our favorite trips to date. The geodome was beautiful, the deck against the woods was so quiet and peaceful, the hot tub was private and relaxing. Some bugs got in the tent but being in the middle of the woods.. you can’t expect them to stay outside the whole time. Fireplace helped on the chilly nights and mornings. The AC unit was great for when it was hot out. Bathroom was a good size and clean. The location of the cabins was perfect. Everywhere we wanted to go was within 15/20min. We didn’t need assistance for any problems but when we did speak to the manager/employees they were all amazing and helpful. I ordered a romance package for our anniversary and the rose pedal set up, steak dinner and champagne made our night. I would definitely recommend this place and would come back again !"

"First of we loved having the actual tree inside the treehouse. The treehouse was clean. We had great timely service. The private hot tub was also clean and wonderful. Morning coffee on the private deck with deer watching was amazing. It was very quiet. Highly recommend"
