About The Hotel
The Sleep Inn Ellenboro Hwy 50 is a 4-star Choice Hotels property at 29 South Main Street directly off US Highway 50 in Ellenboro, Ritchie County, West Virginia. Rated 4.9 across 49 reviews with elite subratings: cleanliness 5.0, rooms 5.0, service 5.0, sleep quality 4.8, value 4.7, location 4.1 (the only mild weakness - small-town Ellenboro has little walking beyond the hotel). The property offers a CONFIRMED in-room Whirlpool Suite (the property carousel photo is captioned ‘Whirlpool Suite,’ making this one of the strongest confirmed in-room-whirlpool options in the entire West Virginia hot-tub-search set), an indoor heated mid-80s pool, an outdoor gas fire pit, infrared grills, free breakfast (which begins at 3:30am to serve oil-and-gas crews per a repeat 5-star reviewer), a fitness center, pet-friendly rooms, free parking and free WiFi. A repeat 5-star Mary R. review notes the property was ranked #1 of 300+ Sleep Inns nationwide and was ‘only 3 years old’ at the time of stay. Connie W. names staff member Misty for handicap-room hospitality. Leslie S. writes ‘I would recommend to stay here if you are in the area. There isn’t much on Rt 50 traveling between Parkersburg and Clarksburg. Very clean, very friendly staff, comfortable beds. Definitely a five star review.’ Ellenboro sits mid-state between Parkersburg (about 45 minutes west on the Ohio River) and Clarksburg (about 45 minutes east in the North-Central WV metro belt). The North Bend Rail Trail runs directly through town and the hotel is walkable to the trailhead - one of the best-positioned overnight stays anywhere on the trail’s 72-mile length. Best for North Bend Rail Trail cyclists, WV Glass Trail heritage collectors, oil-and-gas field contractors and Parkersburg-to-Clarksburg mid-Route-50 road-trippers wanting a genuinely-nice whirlpool-suite overnight.

What guests are saying about Sleep Inn Ellenboro Hwy 50.
"My fiance and I were overdue for a date night. Within an hour driving distance this was BY FAR the most reasonably priced hotel with a "spa tub!" The young woman at the front desk, Shelby, was obviously new but incredibly sweet and accommodating! When she was unsure of how to answer my request she asked for help. The room itself was incredibly clean, spacious, tv and ac worked great! BEAUTIFUL tub and shower! We will be back! Thanks Sleep Inn! It was refreshing to find a well priced room and a sweet girl at the front desk willing and able to help& offer advice!"

View on Google"We recently stayed at the Sleep Inn in and I was so impressed. The rooms and the entire hotel were impeccably clean. The staff is extremely friendly. The breakfast is one of the best hotel breakfasts we have ever had. It’s in a great location in the center of Ritchie County as well and on Thursday and Friday you can get some delicious smoked BBQ from the food truck set up outside. Thanks for a wonderful stay!"
