Rutland–Southern Vermont Regional Airport (RUT) is about 25 minutes southwest; Burlington (BTV) is roughly 1.5 hours north. Killington sits off US-4; the Killington Access Road climbs from Route 4 up to the resort. A car is recommended for exploring central Vermont, though a free shuttle bus runs the Access Road to the lifts in ski season. Boston is about 2 hours 45 minutes southeast; New York City roughly 4.5 hours south. Parking is free at all our featured inns. Once you have arrived, plan to keep a car for day trips around the region; most attractions are an easy drive, and parking at the hotel is straightforward.
