What Guests Are Saying

“I have no hesitation at all in giving The Snowed Inn a five star rating. It is a beautifully well appointed and cosy establishment with a very warm welcome, including log fire in the lounge! The home cooked breakfasts are delicious and the round the clock hot drinks much appreciated. However, it is the friendliness and helpfulness of the owners, Ken and Carolyn, together with their staff, that really makes this lodging stand out from anywhere I have ever been before! Where else would the hotel owner have come out on a dark Saturday evening, complete with drill and duct tape, and lie on the ground to fix a loose trim on a hire car, so that we could continue our travels the next day? Ken just went way above and beyond what anyone would expect! Carolyn also thought nothing of specially making an extra Snowed Inn ‘Fall Leaves’ candle for me to purchase as a gift to take home. This couple really are the perfect hosts and fully deserve all the five star reviews on this site. If ever you are in Killington, you know where you should stay!!” — Heather P., 5 stars

“We had a very enjoyable stay at the Snowed Inn. We found the innkeepers to be most accommodating. As far as cleanliness goes, it is beyond compare including the 2 rooms we occupied and all common areas. The kitchen was immaculate and that says a lot. Not only were our rooms comfortable, the common areas were the same. We loved the inviting atmosphere. The Snowed Inn is just a short distance from many restaurants. It is also the perfect location for seeing nearby areas of Vermont. Going to ski, this is your place!” — Janet V., 5 stars

“Over the years, I have stayed at a number of places in the Killington area and this one was one of the nicer kept places I have stayed. I had room 108-Tyson, a queen room. I will say the room is not large so I feel like it might feel tight for 2 people, but it was fine for me staying solo. There is a large chest of drawers, but not a really good place to hang jackets etc in this room. The room was well kept and attractively furnished. The inn is located on a side street off the Killington access road and you can walk to a number of restaurants about 10-15 min in either direction, as there is a sidewalk on the main road. There is ski and snowboard storage in the hallway outside the rooms. There is also a boot dryer provided in the ski storage area. The storage area is public to all guests and while I would doubt that locking your skis is truly necessary, you may want to bring a cable lock if that makes you feel more comfortable. Breakfast is included in your rate and you fill out a form by 8pm the night prior and drop it in a box to select what you want to have for breakfast the next day. Choose your items and the time you would like to dine and a table will be set with your name on it in the dining room. You just show up at the time you selected and your food items will be brought to the table. Waffle, croissant, breakfast bread (blueberry), quiche and cereal are among the choices. If you choose to bring take out dinner food back to the hotel you can use the dining tables to eat. There is also a small bar that serves light bites and some alcohol, but I didn’t avail myself of that. The inn provides warm cookies in the afternoon around 3:45pm or so. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate are self serve always available in the lobby area. They have a hot tub as well which you sign up for a time slot to use. Nobody used it during my stay as far as I could tell, but I imagine it may be busier in mid-winter when ski season is really in full swing or most likely in summer months. I would stay here again when in the Killington area for a nice place to stay on the access road.” — Miramar, 5 stars

"I recently had a few days with nothing scheduled so I grabbed my son from school and we went on a last minute ski adventure up to Killington. I had a friend recommend the Snowed Inn to me so we looked into it and decided to book. The place is super charming both outside and inside. We were warmly greeted upon our arrival and was explained the procedures for breakfast and the hot tub (which were super easy). Our room was cozy, quiet, and and comfortable. Breakfast the next morning in the dining room/common area was delicious and right on time as we were looking to get up on the hill early to start our day. We had nice conversations with some of the other guests as well as one of the owners. In all we had a really nice albeit quick stay but we will 100% be back again. My young son particularly enjoyed the fresh baked cookies which is definitely a nice touch."

"What a fantastic place to stay. The Inn is absolutely beautiful, the hot tub is amazing and the location is so good. A few minutes walk to the free bus service, market and great restaurants. Carolyn and Ken are amazing hosts, their adult children are lovely (our adult children loved their company) and they are all are such lovely people, perfectly suited to their hosting role. Our family had a fantastic time there. A huge thank you to the Snowed Inn from the Aussies for making our 'White Christmas's so special. I would give more stars if I could."

"My husband and I absolutely LOVED Snowed Inn! We booked a week stay and the owners, Carolyn and Ken, made sure we were very comfortable with our accommodations for the week. They went above and beyond and we truly appreciated their kind hospitality. From the moment we entered the warm and cozy lobby, I knew we made the right choice! It is one of the best lobbies I have ever seen or enjoyed at a Bed and Breakfast. From the many cozy seating areas to choose from, the soft and inviting lighting and music, fresh baked cookies to enjoy, a GREAT tea and coffee bar, and the wonderful smell of apples and fresh baked bread. It smelled like Christmas morning! Tia checked us in and was wonderful and so helpful! Our bed was extremely comfortable, the room was clean, the breakfast each morning was delicious, there was easy parking, and the location was perfect and within minutes from numerous restaurants. We can't say enough good things about Snowed Inn. We highly recommend staying here if you are looking for that cozy, charming B&B experience in Vermont! They did not disappoint! We want to come back for ski season!"
