What Guests Are Saying
“We stayed for 6 nights, and this hotel met or exceeded all my expectations. All areas of the hotel were kept clean. The room was large, quiet, and comfortable. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen was very good, and we were able to use it quite a bit. The breakfast has different choices every day, and enough variety of different kinds of breakfast food. The location is extremely convenient, halfway between historic Wilmington and Wrightsville Beach. In addition, there are lots of stores and restaurants close by, many of which are within walking distance without going out to the main highway. There is plenty of free parking. I thought that everyone of the hotel staff that I met was friendly and helpful. Also, the room rate that we paid was an excellent value for what we got. I would certainly look to stay here again if I was back in Wilmington.” — JimR55, 5 stars
“Many thanks to Dee, for her empathy and sympathy during call to the hotel for reservation confirmation upcoming sad trip to Wilmington. Our room was quiet and clean, a wonderful respite. The new patio and fire pit is an added bonus. We had breakfast outside 2 days. Breakfast the best we’ve seen in a Marriott property and the attendees were friendly and helpful. Property grounds beautiful and area safe and well lit. Very little, if any, room to room noise; some from hallway. We cannot wait to visit under happier circumstances and await the scheduled remodel updates.” — baxter703, 5 stars
“Bill did a great job on reception when we checked in. The package we had booked was not prepared in advance of our arrival and Bill took ownership of the issue and not only arranged the substitution of the missing items in our pre booked package but contacted his manager to agree a reduction in our rate. What started as a disappointment ended up as a total recovery and a very happy customer which shows it’s not what happens but how you react to it that determines customer satisfaction. Thanks Bill” — Jolyon H., 5 stars

What guests are saying about Residence Inn by Marriott Wilmington Landfall.
"We had a great stay! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. I even reported a pair of earrings missing, and the team went above and beyond searching for them. Thankfully, I later found them in my luggage—but I truly appreciated how kind and professional the staff was in handling the situation. Highly recommend this hotel for both service and comfort!"

I keep an eye on the rates and will often stay at whichever of the nice places is the most reasonable. This week, it was the residence in landfall. It’s the first time that I’ve stayed in this location. It’s very close to shopping and restaurants so it was incredibly convenient. The hotel itself was good, and my room specifically was quite decent. It was a king suite that had a kitchenette area in it with a refrigerator and sink. It had a nice little seating area that I used while working last night which was really excellent. The room itself was very clean and nice. I had the breakfast buffet this morning. The woman who was restocking it and cooking was absolutely lovely. She was incredibly sincere, asking me how everything was and if there was anything that she could do for me. She was very genuine and extremely nice. The buffet itself wasn’t fancy, but everything was good. The eggs with the cheese in them were my favorite part. They also have a little waffle station, which is an absolute nicety. The area that the hotel was located in was relatively quiet and seemed very safe. I wouldn’t have misgivings about my wife or family staying there independently."

View on Google"We stayed at this Marriott for our vacation in Wilmington. We have stayed here on several occasions, however, this time we were blessed with a room upgrade and loved it, and the room size was great! The location is excellent, close to the beach, stores, restaurants and more. The breakfasts were always prepared well and very tasty. All the personnel there are professional and personable, but a special kudos to the manager Desiree, Caiden, Tristan and Bill for being approachable, available and helpful when needed. Hoping to return next summer, to our favorite Marriott. I highly recommend the Marriott Landfall."
