What Guests Are Saying

“Our recent wedding at The Yellow House in Waynesville, NC was nothing short of exceptional, largely thanks to Chad, who is an outstanding host. From our first inquiry to the moment we said our goodbyes, the experience was seamless and went far beyond our expectations. What impressed us most was how effortlessly Chad managed every aspect of our special day. He was incredibly responsive to all our questions and requests, making the entire planning process feel simple and stress-free despite the significance of the occasion. Every vendor he coordinated with delivered exactly what we envisioned – the photographer captured our moments beautifully, the food was precisely what we had imagined, and the floral arrangements looked identical to our inspiration images. The accommodations themselves are immaculate. All rooms were spotlessly clean with thoughtful amenities that made our stay comfortable and luxurious. The daily three-course breakfast was a highlight of each morning, featuring delicious, thoughtfully prepared dishes. We also appreciated the delightful sweet treats left in our rooms each day! The property grounds are well maintained, quiet, and incredibly relaxing. Nestled where the Blue Ridge and Great Smoky Mountains meet, this historic inn provides the perfect backdrop for both intimate weddings and romantic getaways. Our families were thoroughly impressed with everything, from the peaceful atmosphere to the attentive service. Several commented on what a perfect venue it was for our celebration. "A True Home Away from Home The Yellow House in Waynesville is an absolute gem! The property is beautiful—peaceful and surrounded by nature—yet just a short drive from great restaurants and shops. Its location couldn’t be better for exploring the Great Smoky Mountains and the Blue Ridge Parkway, both of which we truly enjoyed during our stay. Chad and Josh are amazing hosts who make every guest feel genuinely welcome, as if you’re coming home each time you walk through the door. And what can we say about the breakfasts? Absolutely delicious! And it was such a pleasure sharing those moments with other guests visiting from all over. We’ve stayed at The Yellow House three times already, and each visit has been just as special as the last. We’re already looking forward to returning many more times!"

"Our stay at The Yellow House was amazing. Although there were only 2 of us, we chose the Rockwell Rooms to take advantage of the private balcony. We grabbed our morning coffee and sat in the white plantation rockers to watch the sun come up over the mountains while waiting for a delicious and unique breakfast. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were beautifully decorated in Norman Rockwell artwork. The Inn itself is tastefully furnished throughout and is supplied with various snacks to take along for the day's outing. Chad is an attentive host and we are already thinking of when we can come again. Thanks for a great stay."

"If you are looking for a pampered B&B experience, then book a stay at the historic Yellow House in Waynesville, NC. Beautifully appointed rooms and common areas that are cozy and welcoming. Bedrooms have gas fireplaces, individual HVAC units, and private baths. The plush bathrobes and the in-room breakfasting option are plusses (and the breakfasts are delicious!). Other amenities abound. The owners and staff are friendly and very accommodating. The place is spotless. Would have loved to stay longer!"
