“This hotel was absolutely wonderful. Upon checking-in we were greeted by a friendly and pleasant front desk staff. The reception area set the tone by being clean and comfortable. There is a small, but convenient snack area that has soft drinks, water, chips, crackers, and wine. I love they had a sanitizer area right there at the elevators with napkins and hand sanitizer if you prefer not to touch the buttons with your fingers. We were in room 520, which was on the very top floor that had an awesome view of the city. The room was very cleaned and pretty spacious. For me, I didn’t care for the sink being outside of the bathroom, but the newly renovated shower made up for it. The showers has glass doors and offers shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. There is a very small compact closet area to hang your clothes that is in the same area as the sink. The room does have a microwave and small refrigerator. The free breakfast area was clean and the buffet was outstanding. One of the best I have had. There was an array of all kinds of assorted hot, continental, and cold breakfast items. I am a picky eater, but there was plenty for me to choose from to eat. There are plenty of eating places within minutes of the hotel that don’t require getting back on the highway. We ate at the nearby Chinese restaurant that too was very good. I was very impressed with this hotel and this will be my go to hotel when fly into or out of the Raleigh area.” — shanya1, 5 stars

“I flew in late to the airport, and I was fortunate enough to catch the airport shuttle for the property despite being past the end time. I was blown away by the above and beyond service of the night auditor, Kevin, (who wears multiple hats and works the front desk and drove the shuttle too). He was concerned for a guest who had called about needing transportation for herself and a baby. I was in the vehicle with him as he searched for the guest at the different pickup points and doorways of each terminal to make sure she wasn’t just waiting in the wrong place. He triple checked and looped around several times trying to find her. (He asked me if that was ok, and I was totally happy and content staying in the car with Kevin who was super pleasant and concerned as we searched for this guest with an infant). After 3 thorough attempts he brought me to the hotel. I had the smoothest checkin process, and as he was finishing up, of course he got a call from the lady saying her bag had not come out yet and she finally picked up her luggage and was ready to be picked up. Instead of being irrate about the situation, he really cared and went above and beyond to go back to the airport again to pickup the guest despite shuttle hours being long over. “We stayed at this hotel overnight. Overall it was a decent hotel - N0-Frills. The biggest advantage is the close proximity to RDU a short 10 min shuttle ride. The room was clean and functional although the television is small a needs to be updated. AC was cold and comfortable and the area around the hotel appeared to be safe.” — brian S., 5 stars
