“I want to give praise to a lady working at the service desk- her name was Linda and this woman did absolutely everything in her power to make my wife’s weekend perfect. I admit, I forgot it was my wife’s birthday until almost too late but Linda helped me organize and put tgthr a small birthday celebration to surprise my wife… And keep me out of the dog house. She did everything from ordering the cake to helping decorate an area and even helped me with gift ideas and getting things delivered to the hotel on time. It was perfect! I want to thank her for all her never ending help and for the smile I saw on my wife’s face, I could not have pulled it off without this kind woman’s help. "I’m visiting a friend in Havelock, NC, and found this Comfort Suites in New Bern using the a Choice app. Looked like a nice hotel and an attractive room, so I booked it. THIS HOTEL IS FANTASTIC! The building itself looks like new, but it’s actually been remodeled, and they did a great job with it. The room is quite spacious, with a couch and chair in the living area across from the desk, and a king-sized bed across from the TV, fridge, and microwave. The room looks like a HYATT PLACE room, very nice, and it’s about half the price. I’m really impressed! Natasha was working the front desk when I checked in this evening, and she is very positive, polite, and professional. I made a great choice choosing this place. Could not be happier. Thank you, CHOICE! UPDATE AFTER ONE NIGHT: (You might think I’m a detail freak, and I’d agree. When I stay in hotels or eat in restaurants, I pay attention to the little things that can make a big difference.) 1. The bed was very comfortable, and the bottom sheet is FITTED! This makes the bed better than most, and I greatly appreciate that. 2. The air conditioner is “quiet”. You hear it running, but it’s a steady and calm noise. Very relaxing. 3. The bathroom has a NIGHTLIGHT! I actually travel with a small LED nightlight because so few hotels have a nightlight in the bathroom. I’m 67 years old, and I know I’m going to need to get up in the night. This place thought of that! 4. The shower is fantastic, and the bathroom is well appointed. The soap is great (Rao) as is the shampoo and conditioner. And the towels are thick and soft! I could live in this room for the rest of my life and be happy. OK, that might be an exaggeration, but it’s genuinely roomy and comfortable. Great place. Great location. Great value."

View on Google"We had to get out of the house for a night and came late around 11pm. It was me and 3 kids. We had plenty of room for us and then some. We have stayed here before but alot was closed due to Covid. (Pool, breakfast buffet)This time all was open. The Hotel was extremely clean and organized. We slept a bit late due to getting in late. Came down for breakfast at 9:30 and they were closing everything up. Doris I believe that was her name. Was an angel. She saw us and made us all plates with what was still available. She even went and got toast and made it. She accommodated us even though she didn't have to. She is a treasure! Top tier service!! We WILL be back!!"
