What Guests Are Saying
“We were here recently to attend the Alien Fest in nearby Spruce Pines ( about 20 minutes away). This hotel is amazing. Check-in was quick. It was also $50 cheaper than what we were expecting based on our booking.com booking. Our room is perfect. We have a first-floor room with a king-size bed. The TV says Welcome Susan! There is a chair and table perfect for my husband to get comfy and read. We have a mini fridge. The bathroom is a very nice size. There is plenty of counter space for all of my toiletries. There is no need to drag along shampoo, conditioner, body wash, or lotion. They provide that for you. They use Zero products. I love these products and best of all, they are cruelty free!!! They do have a hairdryer. They also have an ironing board and iron. The lobby is warm and inviting. They have a corner to relax and watch TV. They have an exercise room. They also have a pool and hot tub. We took advantage of that. They have a vending room with ice and machines. They also have plenty of travel information. The vending machines are cash only, though. They do have several luggage carts. They are also pup friendly. Though we left our baby with his uncle and cousins. Plenty of free parking. They have a free breakfast. There are plenty of tables and bars to dine at. Cartoons are playing to keep little ones happy. They have cereal, bread, fruit, yogurt, muffins, juice, coffee, and a very nice selection of tea. On the hot bar, they have eggs, meat, oatmeal, and waffles. They do have toppings for your oatmeal or waffles. I also truly appreciated all the patriotic decorations. The hotel is quietly tucked just off the I 20 corridor that will lead you to Marion and Spruce Pines. There are plenty of attractions less than 30 minutes away. I truly can not recommend a hotel more than this one. You will thank you for this recommendation!!!” — Sburris65, 5 stars
“As Hilton Honors members, we had an amazing experience during our recent stay! We explored Chimney Rock State Park and Catawba Falls, and this hotel was the perfect choice for accessing both, conveniently located right off Highway 40. The entire property has been beautifully renovated and feels brand new. The front desk staff were both professional and incredibly friendly. As an interracial couple, we appreciated the warm reception we received from everyone. Our room was spotless, and breakfast was one of the best we’ve enjoyed at a Hilton, featuring fresh hand-cut fruit, boiled eggs, oatmeal, Chobani and Yoplait yogurt, waffles, bacon, and scrambled eggs. We also loved the pool and hot tub, both of which were very clean. We will definitely return to this location and highly recommend it to others. Safe travels!” — Smile2bhappy, 5 stars
“A friendly welcome as we walked in the door. Check in was very easy and then we were offered bottles of water. She reached for 2 bottles that were cold, explaining that the room temperature bottles that were in easy reach was for the workers “because that is what they preferred. Nice to have a choice! Then multiple snacks to choose from. Completely surprised both of us but so welcomed as we had been driving in a rain storm and wanted to relax and then go to sleep. Room was clean, very nice and suited our needs for the night. Breakfast the next morning was included. Parking lot was nicely lit and reassuring. I will be staying here again due to working in the area helping people after Helene.” — Rondella1, 5 stars

What guests are saying about Hampton Inn Marion.
"We just got back from a wonderful weekend in Marion. We stayed at the Hampton Inn by Hilton and it was a wonderful experience. Everything was very clean and beautifully decorated for Christmas. The staff was extremely friendly and everyone made us feel so welcome. The breakfast was very delicious, and the lady that prepared the food and cleaned the breakfast area was incredibly nice. The rooms were nice and clean and the beds were very comfortable. There was coffee and hot tea available at all times which was wonderful for me as I am definitely a coffeeholic. My kids really enjoyed the hot chocolate and cookies that were available. It was such a nice little getaway, and staying here was a huge part of that. I 10 out of 10 recommend this hotel and I would definitely stay here again."

View on Google"Loved our stay at the Hampton. Breakfast was very good. Everything you can imagine on the Breakfast bar from eggs to cereal, waffles you make, toast, fruit and fruit juice. They even make especially good chocolate chip cookies fresh every day. It is quiet, beds are comfortable and everything works. There's a coffeemaker, iron, hair dryer, tv, and dorm size refrigerator in each room. We have relatives nearby so we're staying there again a few days after Christmas."

View on Google"Perfect family getaway — beautifully decorated and incredibly welcoming! We stayed at the Hampton Inn in Marion, NC for a family trip to visit our son who lives in the area and it was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The moment we walked in, we were struck by how beautifully decorated the hotel was — warm, modern, and inviting, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home. Our room was spotless and spacious. The indoor pool was a huge hit — clean, well-maintained, and perfect for winding down in the evening. Breakfast each morning was a treat, with plenty of hot and cold options. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, offering great local tips and always greeting us with a smile. The location is also ideal — close to the Blue Ridge Parkway and other outdoor attractions, but tucked away enough to feel peaceful and quiet. We’ll definitely be back for another visit Highly recommend this hotel !! Loved the pumpkin decorating contest where the guests could vote!!"
