What Guests Are Saying

“We like to travel with our dog. They allow dogs here and charge less for them than other chain hotels. The room was perfect for us. It did not smell like other dogs had been there, and it did not have a perfumed smell. There was no carpet, which was good, because our dog tipped her bowl of water several times. The room was large, a suite, with a king bed and night stands, sofa, with coffee table and end tables on one side of the room. On the other side of the room was an upholstered bench, large cabinet that held the television, small refrigerator, and drawers, a desk with a Keurig coffee maker and coffee pods. There were lamps everywhere and they were easy to turn on and off. The front desk staff was very friendly. Derrick was very accommodating. Breakfast was from 6-9:00. It was a very good value added to our stay. They had two self serve waffle makers that turned out the most perfect and delicious waffles! And there were any number of toppings that you could think of to put on your waffle. There were also other hot offerings. The scrambled eggs and sausage were very good. There were also bagels with packages of cream cheese and peanut butter. Things that needed to stay cold were in glass fronted refrigerated cabinets. This was the best stay in any hotel ever!” — Karen A., 5 stars

“My brother recommended this place, for my son and I during a recent visit to Greenville. The facility is conveniently located and easy to find, and is relatively newer, two-story building. Check-in was quick, and the Front Desk rep was courteous. We had adjacent rooms at the end of the 2nd floor hallway. The rooms and all the facilities were clean and in good condition. The sofa in my room could have used a quick upholstery cleaning, but all else was fine. Tried the breakfast one morning, which had a good selection of breakfast items and was not crowded, but was very close to just average. Even got to sit out by the pool one afternoon (water too cold to swim), but it was clean and well-maintained. A good overall 4 day/3 night stay.” — Chris D., 5 stars

“This place is AMAZING! I love the owners who daily have a presence with the guests. I love the staff. The hotel has a classic beauty about it. It is clean, comfortable, and reasonably spacious. The prices for the rooms are awesomely priced for the exellent service and attentiveness you recieve during your stay. They have yummy continental breakfast with some extras that Ive not seen at other “STUFFY’ hotels. So if you like the somewhat smaller but kindly personal experience of the country hotel and truly desire to be pampered and relaxed PLEASE try this place. You wont regret it!!! Be blessed.” — Ambrosia A., 5 stars

Pros & Cons

Pros:

  • 4.4 rating with 566 verified reviews and consistently high sub-ratings (4.5–4.6 for cleanliness, rooms, service, location)
  • Spacious all-suite layout with separate living and sleeping areas, ideal for families and longer stays
  • Free hot breakfast with multiple hot items, waffle makers and a good selection praised by guests
  • Pet-friendly policy with lower pet fees than other chains; non-carpeted flooring in some rooms
  • Excellent value and convenient location near ECU campus and the medical district

Cons:

  • A pool-and-suites hotel, not an in-room-jacuzzi property—the soak is by the pool only
  • Commercial boulevard setting rather than scenic or walkable to downtown; a car or short drive needed to reach uptown Greenville and the Tar River
  • Books up quickly on ECU game weekends and during peak medical district travel seasons

"As a Best Western platinum member, I generally seek out Best Western Plus hotels when looking for a value option. This hotel worked well. It was quiet, clean and the bed was very comfortable. It is located on the eastern outskirts of Greenville, convenient to 10th street (ECU) and Greenville Blvd, two of the main thoroughfares. Breakfast was good with variety, but ends at 9:00, which may not be convenient for leisure travelers. Notable was the breakfast attendant today (1/15/26). He never stopped moving, and kept everything spotless and well stocked."

"After visiting the worst room in Greenville elsewhere, we were lucky enough to grab a room here at 1AM. Every room smelled of vanilla and cherubs. Grace, at the desk, was awesome at this absurd hour. The bed was GREAT. Pillows like giant clouds. Of course we find this spot graduation weekend. I hope you find it earlier than we did. I have many bad stories of staying in Greenville…this place is not one of them. If we ever visit again, it will be here. Breakfast is clean, stocked, and what you’d expect from a hotel breakfast."

"This was a really nice hotel for the price. I played a concert in Greenville last, and wanted a decent cheap hotel . This was one of the higher rated ones in the area and very glad I picked it. Looks newly renovated and was very clean. My only gripes would be the mattress was kind low quality, and the shades didn’t close all the way at the bottom, so light kept getting into my room whenever the air would kick on. But considering I only paid around $130 for the room, I’m completely okay with it. I’ve stayed in far worse hotels for more money. This will definitely be my go-to place to stay now when we play in Greenville."
