“Yes, they are under renovation construction. When you walk in you see it all around. But the thing is when I walked in the person at the desk was so pleasant, warm and welcoming you wouldn’t even know she was right in the middle of it all. As I walked away I knew immediately I had to write to commend her high level of professionalism. Her name was DeMina. Then I walked into my room. It was gorgeous! I had originally planned to explore the city while my daughter was at an anime convention but once I saw my room, I changed my mind and decided to stay in. The great service is apparently the culture there because everyone I encountered was kind and helpful. And despite the construction they still provided a hot breakfast. The breakfast attendant was a gem. She kept and eye on everything and everyone ensuring all who wanted freshly made waffles got them! I had a wonderful stay. Also, I received an email about the construction when I booked with plenty of notice to change my hotel. I’m glad I didn’t. “Very nice hotel. Comfortable beds. Spacious room. Inspite of renovations going on - which you wouldn’t know. Good location. Breakfast was ok.- 1 of the areas being renovated but lots of choices. Friendly staff. Need a sign by road as hotel is hidden by trees and shrubs. Missed the little things like a bar of soap for sink, pen and a notepad.
