What Guests Are Saying

“I really can’t say enough about the staff at this hotel. They were so welcoming and helpful. I initially rented a car at the airport to do a little ancestry tourism in a nearby town before the Chapel Hill super regional began. I only got the car for that first day and they were kind enough to come pick me up at the airport after I dropped off the car at the end of that first day. I just used rideshares the rest of the trip. The rooms were incredibly spacious and comfortable. They were clean and I never heard a peep from a neighboring room—not so much as a door slamming. The grounds were shaded and tastefully landscaped. The nightly rate made for an exceptional value as well which was what initially attracted me to the property. I’d give this property first consideration if I was every in the area again.” — SCNate09, 5 stars

“Everything at this hotel has been A+ service. From the moment I called to request the complimentary shuttle from RDU they arrived within 10 minutes. The staff at the front desk were absolutely lovely and accomadated my every request. Early check in for $25 but totally worth it since my flight arrived at 10am and they had a room available. Used the gym which had everything I needed. The indoor pool looked nice! Did not use it but its definitely a nice amenity since it was cold and rainy. Ordered food from the bar downstairs and used the washer and dryer on my floor. Love that this available since I had done a few workouts during my 2-day stay. I would ABSOLUTELY stay here again and recommend to anyone staying in Raleigh for a short trip!” — Brittany G., 5 stars

“Staff is genuinely friendly at this old but very well-maintained property. Shortly after checking in a maid knocked on our door to bring extral pillows as noted in my hhonors profile. Everything in our room was in good working order. Bed was comfy and water pressure in the bathtub/shower was solid, without much of a wait for the hot water to start. Towels were large and in good condition. Furnishings were in good shape, no noticeable carpet stains, etc. Large lights kept the parking lot well-lit at night. Price was very reasonable and I’d definitely return” — davidandrose1, 5 stars

"I can’t say enough good things about this place. I had a suite with two rooms and it was wonderful all the way through. The staff is really great here and they offer laundry as a free perk on the 7th floor, the 3rd floor has quarter laundry. The staff was one of my favorite parts because they’re so accommodating and friendly. It really makes your stay pleasant and appreciative. The keurig in the room is nice with tea and coffee pods given to you and more at the front desk if you need them. Maid service was great and lots of people coming and going from the pool area although I didn’t experience that myself.it was indoor and heated but outside was below freezing so I just wasn’t in the mood. Lots of family’s taking their kids to the pools too I noticed. Great bar restaurant at the front with breakfast or dinner options. Parking was easy and account front."

"Very nice hotel. The suites are big and well kept. The pool and surrounding area is a nice bonus! This is a nice affordable place to stay when in the Dunham Raleigh area. You can shuttle to and from the airport, and there's many places to eat and shop nearby. I highly recommend this hotel."

"Stayed overnight with my mom while picking up my son from Duke University, where he had just completed an aerospace engineering program. The hotel was conveniently located near the campus, which made everything so much easier. We were greeted with warm chocolate chip cookies upon arrival—such a nice touch! The front desk staff, especially DOC (and another gentleman whose name I can’t recall), were incredibly pleasant and welcoming. The exterior grounds were beautifully maintained, and our room was very nice, though it did have a slight musty smell. Overall, the hotel was very clean, the staff was friendly, and the location was absolutely perfect."
