What Guests Are Saying
“We stayed at the Inn at Corolla Light over Thanksgiving 2023. We had one of their pet friendly rooms as we were traveling with our fur-baby. The room was absolutely lovely. We particularly enjoyed sitting on the outdoor deck for the spectacular sunsets. The location was very well located with shops, restaurants and the historic village/lighthouse all walkable. They had free loaner bikes which we did not use. The breakfast was a continental help yourself affair. Staff was warm, hospitable and provided a lot of great recommendations.” — Tantalika, 5 stars
“Sister trip to the Outer banks. We enjoyed our stay at the Inn at Corolla Light. We had a great room facing the sound and got to watch an incredible sunset from our deck. There is nice walking path along the water which takes you to the historic village and lighthouse. We were warmly welcomed by the staff, the rooms were comfortable and the Inn is centrally located. Would definitely recommend staying here when visiting Corolla.” — cassinator7, 5 stars
“Great place to stay. Employees very friendly. Room are nice. Bonus is continental breakfast with Bruce as your host! Great guy with lots of knowledge about the history of OBX. Worth the stay just for Bruce! Complimentary bikes are a great feature as well. Also get Corolla Light amenities. Great sunset views from the pier on the Sound.” — Cindy W., 5 stars

What guests are saying about Inn at Corolla Light.
"We stayed for a couple of nights just before the Inn closed for the season… The two dogs and Older couple had a wonderful time! The room was very modern and comfortable, and the service was beyond expectations! Be sure not to book with Booking.com, but to call the hotel directly. The continental Breakfast was filling. We had a great time exploring the sound north and south of the Inn. It’s rare to find a dog friendly accommodation that is so appealing. We will be back!"

View on Google"This is our second time bringing pups to this establishment. Both times we have felt welcome and both times we have had a great time. The breakfast is as advertised a continental but definitely serves its purpose. The large size of the suite with our large dogs was appreciated and the upgrades were also noted and appreciated. Alexis, who was in the office when our big dog decided to chew through her leash and run away, helped us get her before she got hit by a car. It was mostly a relaxing vacation otherwise. I highly recommend anyone who likes to travel with their pups in a beautiful location with beautiful views and beautiful sunsets consider staying here. You won’t regret it!"

View on Google"If you’re looking for an authentic and genuine place to stay that captures the very essence of the Outer Banks, this is the place for you. The staff was amazingly helpful and friendly (Shout outs to Alexis, Fernando, and Bruce!) for making our stay extra special. Our room was number 42 and I think it’s probably one of the best rooms with a shared balcony and perfect views. We will be back!"
