Panther Creek Cabins
"Secluded creekside cabins with advertised in-cabin jacuzzis—flagged candidly."
About The Hotel
Panther Creek Cabins (3.8 stars, 48 reviews, $130–$220) are secluded creekside cabins up Wrights Creek Road near Harrah’s and the national park. They advertise in-cabin jacuzzis and fireplaces—genuinely romantic for couples seeking complete seclusion. We flag this property candidly: the 3.8 rating masks serious concerns including condition problems, a bed-bug report with photos, mold, claims the jacuzzi is a seasonal bathtub only, and disputed post-checkout fees. Call the property directly to confirm cabin condition, tub status, and all fee policies before booking.
What Guests Are Saying
“Absolutely breathtaking seclusion where our cabin was located. The only noises we heard were passing cars, which are very few. It was romantic and amazing for a couple wanting time to yourselves. We had a fire pit and a grill with supplied firewood. No cell service except Verizon.” — guest, 4 stars

What guests are saying about Panther Creek Cabins.
"My significant other and I absolutely loved Panther Creek Cabins! While the off-the-beaten-track site sits nestled in the mountains alongside a rushing stream above the town of Cherokee, NC, we were minutes away from the area’s major attractions. Our cozy, pet-friendly, and immaculate cabin offered more than the ambiance of days past like it’s outdoor fire pit, porch rockers, and antique decor, it also featured a stocked kitchenette, indoor fireplace, jacuzzi tub, and cable TV. However, what we especially relished was the sight and sound of the forest around us, especially the cascading stream running alongside our cabin. Last but not least, our wonderful hosts were extremely attentive and welcoming. We were additionally impressed by their background and talents. One is a seasoned antique dealer who has a shop on the grounds filled with fascinating finds. The other is an ordained minister who performs intimate ceremonies in the lovely little chapel near the cabins. If possible, we would’ve rated Panther Creek Cabins higher than 5 stars! To sum things up, we plan to return again and again in the future!"

View on Google"We really enjoyed our stay with panther creek cabins. We knew in advance that we rented a cabin that was divided into 3 different rooms with each having it’s private room so it was set up like a motel of sorts but we had no problem with it at all. Each room had a jacuzzi bathtub and they are very nice. For the price of $135 a night you simply can’t beat it bc you’d pay as much or more for a room at one of the Cherokee local motels and take it from me, the fighting and just disorderly stuff that happens with the Harrahs crowds( man and woman were fighting g over money loses at casino) can be very frustrating so it was so very nice to be 3-4 miles out of town in Cherokee. My fiancee and I really enjoyed our stay and we really loved the swing that’s next to the little creek. The sound of that itself made our trip unforgettable. Also the road getting up to the cabin is almost perfect and the driveway is so well maintained so if you get a chance go stay in a panther creek cabins and let your recharge begin!"
