What Guests Are Saying
“Neva and I absolutely love staying at Baker House 1650 in East Hampton. This was our second visit (we stayed here last year as well), and it continues to impress. The staff is professional, warm, and genuinely welcoming. The décor throughout the property has a beautiful old-school charm that makes the entire experience feel special. One of our favorite touches — they actually have real newspapers available to read… love that. The rooms are gorgeous, and the bedding is extremely comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was also very nice. At the beginning of our second day, around 2:45 PM, while we were sitting in the library by the beautiful fireplace, we received the devastating news that Neva’s mom had suddenly passed away at 95 years old. We informed Katherine at the front desk that we needed to leave due to the circumstances. The response from the Baker House team was truly heartfelt. They were incredibly understanding and caring. As we were leaving the property, they stopped us and gave us a comfort bag with water, hot tea, and chocolate — such a thoughtful gesture during a very difficult moment. Shortly after, we also received a personal email from management offering their condolences and letting us know they would credit the final day of our stay toward a future visit. Baker House 1650 went above and beyond our expectations — not just in hospitality, but in genuine human kindness. Thank you for being so understanding and thoughtful. We look forward to returning next year” — vegman58, 5 stars
“where to start ! my daughter and I stayed for a few nights to celebrate her birthday - we wanted someplace special and memorable and it was everything and more - the staff were all so friendly , professional and so incredibly helpful and went out of their way to make us feel special. The grounds and the rooms are like a fairytale and the little touches such as the fully stocked honour bar , the fresh flowers , the beautiful scent throughout the rooms and lounge areas .. just everything ! is magical and I can honestly say it is a place that will stay in our memory for a very long time and we are so thankful to everyone for making our time so special ..of course goes without saying it is a wonderful location close to everything in the Hamptons you wish to visit .” — 21Family21, 5 stars
“This B&B was the most spectacular place I’ve ever stayed. Everything about it is first class. The grounds are simply amazing and the location is central to everything, beach, dining, shoping, vineyards. The staff is super friendly and overall we had the absolute best experience in this little piece of paradise. We booked late and only had a room in the carriage house available BUT This is the absolute best building to stay in :) We had our own pool, bar and quite getaway, isolated from the road and hustle and bustle of other housemates. Highly recommend this place, it’s magical.” — Lora P., 5 stars

The champagne and caviar were excellent. The tea was very good. We had a corner table sort of by the garden entryway, and it was a perfect spot with shade. The garden and grounds were magnificent and clearly well maintained. The service was impeccable, and they really did great catering to our ever need. We will definitely go back."
