"My husband and I simply loved our stay. From the very first moment, we were welcomed with such kindness and attention that it truly made all the difference. Sedik and Iris were extraordinary, extremely polite, helpful, and genuinely concerned about making sure we had the best experience possible. They really elevated the level of service and made us feel at home. The room was impeccable: a huge, super comfortable bed, a spacious bathroom with a separate shower area and an amazing bathtub that we enjoyed a lot. The view was incredible and exceeded all of our expectations for this trip. Before finding this place, we visited other hotels where we were poorly treated, which only highlighted how well cared for we were here. The difference was huge, and we are very grateful for the warm hospitality. The location is also perfect: close to the main spots in Albany and surrounded by great places to eat and go out. Without a doubt, this hotel won our hearts. We will absolutely return, especially because of the exceptional experience and the outstanding service from Sedik and Iris. Highly recommended! "This hotel is in a historic old building with a lot of character. I stayed as a Gold Elite and did not automatically get upgraded despite messaging them on the app a few hours before arriving. At check-in, Sedik was kind enough to upgrade me to an Executive King room with fireplace. The room overlooked State Street with three large windows. We loved the working gas fireplace and would stay here again just for the fireplace and bathroom. The bathroom was huge with a separate shower, bathtub, and window. They recently replaced the carpet, wallpaper, desk chair, and sitting chair. Great location downtown to visit Albany without a car. They accommodated my 2 pm late checkout, which was appreciated. I love the low rates with the multitude of higher category rooms and suites. Would stay here again without question. The only downside is that it's a Fairfield brand and some elements of the stay feel a little cheap, such as the bar soap and lotion by request only."
