“We had an incredibly relaxing stay at The Homestead at Rehoboth Beach Bed & Breakfast in July 2026. We stayed in the Carriage House Loft and it was nicely appointed and updated. The living room area was great for hanging out. While we didn’t get to enjoy it as much as we wanted, the large balcony overlooking the property was such a nice feature. If cooler and more dry, we would have been sitting out there more. The bedroom had everything we needed such as a comfy bed, TV with lots of cable and streaming options, and A/C. The ensuite bathroom was huge. The unit was incredibly clean! Spotless! The grounds were very lovely as they have a lot of privacy trees, mature plants/trees, and lovely flowers planted all over. It almost felt like an English Countryside. There is a nicely appointed lounge on the first floor of the carriage house that offered an ice machine, bathroom, and TV space. While we didn’t use it to relax, it was great for getting ice and filtered water before heading out. The only negative with the location would be getting in/out from the parking lot and some road noise from people passing by. The noise was never an issue inside the unit. For us those were minor inconveniences and did not negatively impact our stay. Joe and David provided exceptional hospitality and service. They provided a few recommendations for enjoying the beach and getting a great dinner, and both recommendations were stellar!” — Joe, 5 stars

“I have visited The Homestead many times over the years. I remember my first visit (in pre-Covid days), coming downstairs to breakfast. As usual, I stuffed myself with pastries, not realizing that a full-on gourmet breakfast would be served. Because I usually travel with a dog, I appreciate The Homestead’s pet policy. In my last two (post-Covid) visits, I stayed at the separate house with its own fenced-in backyard. One of my dogs acted as if she’d never seen a backyard before; she was in heaven. Over the years, there have been additions to the property and its amenities. Everything (both inside and out) is maintained in immaculate condition. And (as noted above) the breakfasts are superb! It is a bit of a drive—15 minutes or so—to reach Rehoboth Beach and its boardwalk. But for me, the tradeoff has always been worth it.” — Brigid H., 5 stars

“The guys that own it run a top notch facility. The rooms are spacious and well appointed with comfortable seating and sleeping areas. The pillows were better than my own at home and the sheets were soft and cozy. The shower was superb, nice strong water pressure. Made use of the fridge and Kurig coffee machine every day. The grounds are kept in beautiful condition. Did not get to use the pool but it looks beautiful! The breakfasts served each morning were delicious and they give you many items to choose from. Only 2 blocks off the main highway and a very easy commute into downtown Rehoboth Beach full of stores, restaurants and the beach of course!! Highly recommend this B&B for anyone wanting a quite stay at the beach away from all the traffic and noise.” — C. J., 5 stars
