Breakfast was one of the better hotel free Breakfast I’ve had in all of my travels’; a 4-star family wrote ‘Overall it is a very clean and well run hotel, family friendly, with close access to the beach (1 block away) that sits on the bay side. The rooms are very spacious and are cleaned daily, fresh paint, and renovations to’; balanced against a 3-star ‘Average stay’ who flagged ‘few stains on floor in the room when arrived, dirty looking pool with poor lighting, very tight parking in the parking garage’ as correctable things. What Guests Are Saying

“Check in was EASY and EFFORTLESS Location was spectacular!! Very chill environment/atmosphere with everything you need within a quick walk or short drive away! 10 minutes form the Rehoboth boards and shops also made this location PERFECT! We traveled with a small child so having access to the bay with restrooms so close by was phenomenal! Housekeeping was timely and made sure the room was so clean! Electrical team was phenomenal when we wanted our room a little bit cooler due to our baby! Joe Jukosky and his staff/coworker Chris were so quick to help us with the temperature adjustment with no complaint!! So baby friendly any staff who saw me rocking son to sleep on the deck were very quick to offer me drinks or assistance if needed without being asked (name tags of those I noticed asking me if I needed anything were Loren and I believe another man named Joe) The staff was SO pleasant to work with and welcomed us with smiles the whole stay!” — Stephanie B., 5 stars

“The Hyatt was a great place to stay with a family with easy access to the beach and experiences at Dewey, and the hotel was terrific. Everything met our expectations and surpassed them. We will be there again!” — Matthew P., 5 stars

“We are always happy with our stays at Hyatt Place Dewey. We have been going there since 2019. Our kids love it! We especially loved the upgraded two bedroom condo for being a Hyatt Discoverist member!!” — Diana A., 5 stars

"Mia is absolutely amazing. Even with our late-night check-in, she greeted us with the biggest smile and genuine warmth. She took the time to help us explore a few different rooms so we could find the perfect fit for our weekend, which made our stay feel even more special. It’s so refreshing to come back to a hotel where the staff truly makes you feel welcomed every single time. Lindsey is also such a bright spot in the mornings, always greeting us with a cheerful “good morning” that sets a positive tone for the day. We truly love coming to the Hyatt in Dewey for our weekend getaways whenever we can. The kindness of the team here is a big part of why it always feels like coming home. I would easily give this hotel a 10/10. Management consistently goes above and beyond, jumping in to make sure every little detail is perfect. Their attentiveness and genuine care for their guests truly set this Hyatt apart and keep us coming back time and time again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Dawn Ranieri 😊"

"Love the Hyatt Place Dewey beach! Clean, cozy, and spacious rooms, perfect location, outstanding amenities, and impeccable customer service. Mia J. is an absolute treasure! She helped me tremendously with sorting out reservation errors made by the Hyatt customer service agent I initially dealt with by phone when calling the 1-800 number. Mia straightened everything out seamlessly, and was polite, helpful, and knowledgeable. It is clear that she values Hyatt guests and is committed to providing A+ customer service. Thank you, Mia! Can't wait for my next stay at the Hyatt Place Dewey Beach."

"Our stay was great! Location can't be beat, down the street from the shore and the various restaurants within a few minutes (the Lighthouse and Dewey Post, etc). We had a baby with us so as you can imagine, travel is a bit hectic. Mia made our night during our stay. We had ordered take out from the Lighthouse as it was only indoors seating and high tops so no space for baby (understandable, given early November). We had planned to eat our dinner at the Atrium but saw that it was completely reserved for an event. We were pretty bummed. But Mia kept insisting that she could pull out a table, chairs, and a high chair for us. We kept declining cause it seemed like it was too much to do and we would be able to figure something out. But that didn't stop her and she actually set us up with all of that at the breakfast counter area. We were able to enjoy our prime ribs and baby was able to enjoy her fruits. So thank you so much Mia!! Everyone else was also very sweet and great, took time to make short conversations when not busy. (Maybe it was because I had a baby, but everyone was very pleasant to speak with.)"
