What Guests Are Saying

“Very nice stay here and they accept pets (for a fee of course). Check in was super smooth and the young woman who was at the desk was so pleasant. Clean? Yes, very and I always look in the corners and check out the tub. VERY CLEAN. Breakfast was the usual stuff and it hit the spot. There is ample parking, several places to eat and Surf Bagel too (very close). Mattress needed updated but I have stay worse. As we stayed in the “off season” it was quiet as well. Several grocery stores close by and close to a Walmart One item we got a chuckle about is they have a WOOF WALL. Picture of dogs that have stayed with them.” — Kevin G., 5 stars

“Just a quick overnight trip to Rehoboth and we chose to stay here. We were enthusiastically welcomed when we arrived and when we departed. All the staff spoke with us and all seemed to be invested in the success of this hotel. Our room was new and clean, great pillows and comfortable sheets. Breakfast much more than expected with food refreshed minute by minute. This is a great place for families visiting Rehoboth. It’s may not seem like the greatest location, but we felt perfectly safe and our goal was not to stay on the beach but to visit the area and boardwalk. We highly recommend this Holiday Inn Express.” — Susan, 5 stars

“Excellent experience at this clean, comfortable, well located, nice rooms, good breakfast and great staff…particular shout out to Marcy and George on front desk who couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. Breakfast staff is equally wonderful. And, very importantly, as dog friendly as we hoped. Many stores, including Tanger Outlets nearby, along with countless restaurants. Great value in a property to explore Rehoboth Beach, Bethany Beach, etc. area. Will definitely stay at this property again.” — Kevin G., 5 stars

"I wanted to place this review in case anyone reading had a dog. They are VERY dog friendly and you have nothing to worry about. There is a photo display of all the dogs that have stayed which spans nearly 2 walls. I was a little worried about the size of our lab before I arrived and just wanted to put anyone's mind at ease. Now with that out of the way the actual review. The staff are extremely friendly and they are great at what they do. The breakfast buffet is better than most higher end hotels I have been to and is consistently cleaned and replenished by the staff throughout breakfast. They have a pancake machine, cereal, yogurt, bread, warm cinnamon rolls as well as eggs and sausage or even sausage gravy. The rooms have high ceilings and large bathrooms, something you would see in a much more expensive hotel. Overall this is a wonderful hotel but the location is not ideal. There is a red light which makes getting out on to the main road easy but the drive to the beach takes a few minutes with traffic. There is nothing the hotel can do about this and if you enjoy the outlets or shopping in general this location may be the best choice. Most of the hotels in Rehoboth, at least name brand, are a distance from the beach either way. If you are hesitant at all I would have to say don't be, we will definitely return and had a great experience overall. Oh, and there is an indoor pool as well."

"Such a perfect location and extremely dog friendly! We were unsure on how it would be but upon walking in and seeing the dog bowl in the door and the “wall of dogs” that have stayed, we’ve been thoroughly impressed! The free breakfast is just enough to start the day off with and had really long hours. The pool was just enough too especially for our 3 year old and 10 month old! Plus everything was decently clean. We will definitely be back!"

"I stayed at this hotel with my husband, son, and our dog, and we had a wonderful experience. The location was amazing—so close to plenty of activities including a waterpark, go-karts, mini golf, and a movie theater. There’s even an outlet right across the street, which was super convenient. Traveling with our dog was made easy here. Not only was the staff extremely friendly (especially toward our pup), but she also met a friend from the nearby pet adoption center. We almost ended up leaving with two dogs instead of one! The breakfast was decent, with the omelet being a highlight. Overall, the combination of the location, pet-friendly atmosphere, and welcoming staff made our stay memorable. I would definitely visit again!"
