“The Avenue was amazing. The rooms were clean. The staff was attentive and communicated well. And most of them were super friendly! Most notably Brett. We had to change rooms because the first night of our stay was overbooked but the switch went smoothly and was all laid out for us beforehand. They serve a decent breakfast selection, wine and cheese before dinner time and cookies and milk in the evening. They have a lounge room filled with games. An indoor pool with a deck area outside. Water station by the pool. Coffee and water available all day. Although I will say my one complaint was the coffee during the day was terrible but always hot. But that’s not a reason to not go there as everything else was amazing. The extra “premium” coffee they had in the morning was decent. We didn’t utilize them but they had rain umbrellas by the door to go out in the rain. They lend you towels and beach chairs to go to the beach and although we didn’t use him either, they even have a guy named Lou to drive you there although it’s a pretty easy walk. Depending on what you’re carrying I think it’s awesome they have him! Especially if you’re older or traveling with little ones. Convenient to beach, restaurants, snacks etc. You never have to leave. But if you do they have parking spots down to the exact number of rooms it seems so be careful. There are a few for compact cars only and we snagged the last spot one day. Our bathroom lighting and shower head could have been better but there was a magnifying mirror that helped me see better and I still got clean in the shower. “We love the Avenue ! This was our 2nd stay, and we will be back next summer as well. Perfect for our family of 4 , 5 and 7yo kids . It’s clean and beautiful, the little things matter ! Milk and cookies before bed for the kiddos , Lou who drives the buggy back and forth to the beach so no chair hauling , the staff and of course the location can’t be beat .
