What Guests Are Saying
“We wanted to get away for a few days and our neighbors said they had had a lovely stay. We went for 2 nights and enjoyed it (and as we are not into gambling so much) this was enough time. We were in the Sky tower on floor 18 (room 1810) which we learned is the oldest part of the hotel; it was a large room and very quiet. It was clean. We did love that the whole facility, including the casino is non smoking. We used the pool and the hot tub. We went mid week so the whole facility did not feel crowded. We went to the Comix one early evening, saw the free rock bank and ate dinner at Farm Italy and Beauty & Essex, both good meals and reviewed separately.” — Rochelle F., 5 stars
“Not like it used to be. No more excitement left in this place. They don’t even announce the jackpot winners anymore on the loud speaker to kind of get you pumped, not that there are many winners anyways…lol. The excitement is gone. They do not pay out. The restaurants are outrageously priced. Just not fun anymore. The old days are gone, my friends. We were offered 3 free nights and we’re going home in the morning after we stay tonight. The place is dead. All done.” — JazzyG, 1 star
“I had a terrible experience at Mohegan Sun during our family spring break. We spent a significant amount of money expecting a safe and enjoyable stay, but on our second night we discovered bed bugs crawling on our pillows. We documented everything and reported it immediately. As a result, our belongings including clothing and my child’s toys—were contaminated. We had to throw away items, purchase new clothes, and pay out of pocket for fumigation both during and after our stay. This was not only costly but extremely stressful and traumatic for my family. The most disappointing part was the hotel’s response. We were promised compensation (around $400+), but we never received anything. Calls and follow-ups were ignored, and no real resolution was provided. This situation was handled poorly from beginning to end. I would not recommend this property to anyone, especially families.” — Aminta B., 1 star

What guests are saying about Mohegan Sun.
"Its easy to get to and I find it much cleaner feeling than Foxwoods. The rooms are pricey but always clean and amazing. I love the ease of getting to and parking, even during busy events. I come pretty regularly but not to gamble, we attend mma events and other tournaments for sports and such and have no complaints so far."

View on Google"Stayed at Mohegan Sun for a basketball tournament and had a good experience overall. The hotel was clean.. definitely less “casino grimy” than I expected. Our room was comfortable, neat, and felt well taken care of. The staff were friendly. One small thing I really appreciated was that the front desk had free water bottles available. The stores on property are definitely pricey (as expected in a casino resort), but having that convenience on-site is still nice when you need something quick. The arena itself was really nice, easy to navigate, and had a great atmosphere for the games."

View on Google"Best casino in the country. It's set in the most beautiful part of CT, surrounded by nature. You can roam the property and "mall" area and never even know the casino is there! BUT when you are ready to Gamble, 2 casinos are attached, one at each end of the "mall street". THIS PLACE IS IMMACULATE! when you first walk in you notice how CLEAN it smells and looks. Beautiful fresh scent everywhere. Pleasant employees throughout. I have been here about a dozen times and never had one rude person help me. From Every restaurant to every kiosk the service is just wonderful. The casinos are a delight for the eyes as well! at all the touches of decor honoring Native history are incredible. Down to the smallest touches like wall fixtures in the casinos and murals big and small, the "wolves on mountain" display complete with howling on the hour! No smoking throughout, but I do know there is a Cigar lounge so maybe small smoking areas are available. There are so many options for Fine dining or fast food, and places to dine in between! You can't go wrong here!! And The SPA is incredible also, world class. P.S. I don't even gamble LOL! my husband takes care of that! You literally can go there and never gamble. We have taken our kids there and they have dozens of things to do, last week there was a big collectable convention and Pokémon garbed fans walked the halls! They have big concerts there and sports events. ONLY ONE DOWNSIDE: THE ROOMS SELL OUT SO MAKE HOTEL RESERVATIONS!! oh! Mystic CT is only 3 min away! Such a cute quaint town on the water. Historical museum, aquarium, little new England gift shops there too! MOHEGAN SUN FOR THE WIN!"
