Saybrook Point Resort & Marina is a 4.6-rated (1,713 reviews) waterfront resort positioned at the mouth of the Connecticut River where it meets Long Island Sound. The property features recently renovated rooms with appealing views and tasteful decor, a spa offering treatments, and a pool-and-hot-tub area. A working marina supports boating and water activities. The resort caters to couples, boaters, and special-occasion travelers seeking an elegant waterfront experience.

What Guests Are Saying

“Loved our stay here! Great location on the marina, nice view from the room. We loved the pool and hot tub area, as well as the fun lounge and on-site restaurant. The bathrooms were particularly nice and luxurious. Service was friendly. The amenities were all nice. The room rate seemed a bit high (nearly $1000 for one night with tax and resort fee), but I suppose it was because it was a holiday weekend. Definitely recommend staying here. We’d go back, but hopefully would find a better rate!” — SunSeekerWA, 5 stars

“We stayed at Saybrook Point Marina last weekend and was provided with a newly renovated suite in the third floor. The room renovation was great with a fresh new look. We have been regular customers, for over the past 10 years. As always the overall facility is wonderful and the staff ate always on their A game! Just a wonderful and relaxed place to be! Enjoy!” — Rob R., 5 stars

“We were first timers in your amazing renovated room on the 3rd floor corner(306)! Well done! We do realize might be a few unique to being a new set up. First of all, the privacy buttons must be explained. Especially that if you don’t turn them on, no service. Secondly, it took a VERY long time to get hot water. We mentioned it and they thought there might have been a re-circulating value issue. Yet, it was the entire time. The TV control and lack of instruction is horribly confusing - even the bellhop mentioned that. By our 4th day we had it somewhat figured out. Lastly, we were very surprised that as a dog friendly hotel (love that) there weren’t select rooms set aside for our 4-legged friends. There was a dog in the room adjacent. Lets just say there was quite a bit of barking. And why would you want a big wet dog(it was raining out all weekend) on the 3rd floor with no easy access to the outside? I am a dog owner and lover, and were probably one of the few that never let her sleep on the bed. But most that say they don’t … are fibbing. The thought of returning and paying that amount of money knowing a dog might have been in my bed makes me not want to return. I don’t care how well the room is cleaned. I would HIGHLY suggest setting aside dog-friendly rooms and making that known. And … not sure if my mother-in law (238) will mention, but her heater fan never shut off. All and all - we truly loved and enjoyed our stay. Your staff, service and drink/food, all wonderful. Loved the bikes and amazing pool/steam. Truly hope you’ll take the dog friendly suggestion to heart - I feel the other things you can easily work out.” — Lynne F., 5 stars

"I just had a stay and my wedding at Saybrook Point and cannot recommend this resort and venue enough. The location is beautiful. The food was all great. Each member of the staff was excellent from the event and catering staff helping with our wedding and room service to those working at the front desk and Fresh Salt restaurant. The room at the inn that was included with our wedding booking was large and comfortable, making the experience even better and logistics easier and more convenient. They made sure to fulfill or answer every request, need, or question. It was such a wonderful wedding made even better because of everyone at Saybrook Point! I can’t wait to come back and visit again soon! I am so grateful we found them and it worked out to give us the perfect day for me and my husband."
