What Guests Are Saying
“My wife and I went to the Inn at Harbor Hill Marina in Niantic a few weekends ago to celebrate, a few days early, our 57th wedding anninversary, redeeming a gift certificate from my wife’s brother and his wife. When we checked in, we found a complimentary bottle of Prosecco and a lovely handwritten note congratulating us on our anniversary. (Yes, my wife had spilled the beans when making the reservation.) What a treat! The next morning we had a delicious, freshly prepared breakfast - eggs and pancakes. The staff was wonderful and the view of the marina from our private porch spectacular. We can’t wait to return to this marvelous spot! Rich and Sue Ratzan” — rodddd2, 5 stars
“My husband and I stayed at the Inn at Harbor Hill Marina for 2 nights mid-November. Although it was a bit chilly outside, the sunny days as well as the warmth of the staff helped stave off the chill. You choose breakfast from a menu and it’s perfectly prepared and served by cheerful staff. Late afternoon cheese and wine are served, and each day at 7PM a different cookie is available. The inn is absolutely spotless, well-maintained, and in an area with an abundance of things to do. Mystic Seaport is nearby as is Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods Casinos. If you’re looking for a quaint town for a relaxing stay, you’ve found it. No need to look further. We’ve been here twice now, and plan to continue visiting.” — MAYWEDDING1, 5 stars
“My husband and I were coming to Niantic on our way back home from Boston. We arrived earlier than check in time and our room wasn’t ready so we walked around and had some lunch. They said they would call when the room was ready but they didn’t so we just returned at regular check in time and the room was ready by then. We only stayed 2 nights. We stayed in the Captain Clark House in room 15. I chose this room for the private balcony, the soaking tub and the views. We found the room to be fairly comfortable. We didn’t see a way to adjust the heat to air conditioning and the room was staying pretty warm at 75 degrees. We decided to open the windows to allow for cooler air to flow thru. (Unfortunately this is how I think I ended up sick with a sore throat and cold) The main area of the house had a small refrigerator for everyone’s use as well as an abundant supply of coffee/tea with a Keurig machine. We did partake in the complimentary wine and cheese reception, which was a nice added touch. We chose to have breakfast delivered to our room the first morning. Even though it was delivered late (we thought they forgot about us), it was delicious. They did apologize for being late, they had lost our request cards. After breakfast we weren’t sure what to do with the tray so we kept it in our room for the rest of our stay. The hallway was narrow and we didn’t want to block it with the food tray. We decided to eat breakfast in the main house on the second day. It was delicious as well. However, I found it strange that there was only one pot of coffee which was empty when we arrived and they didn’t have a pot for decaf coffee or hot water (for tea). My husband went to the community Keurig to get coffee while we waited for them to refill the pot. Not a big deal the food was delicious and the chef and server were very nice. Overall it was a nice one time stay.” — VacaLover, 4 stars

View on Google"Inn at Harbor Hill Marina is an idylliac setting with an incredibly warm, friendly and accomodating staff. The rooms are well appointed, many with great views and a very absorbent terrycloth robe for my long hair. The bed was super comfortable and the setting really quiet, which is great since I'm a super light sleeper. Easy walk to town, attractions and bayside boardwalk. Ashley and Danielle are meant to be in the hospitality industry!"

View on Google"I stayed here last weekend for a few days, and I absolutely loved it! I stayed in room 1 on the second floor of the main building. The inn consists of two buildings-the main building and a guest house. When you arrive, you will see two buildings; the largest building on the right is the main building. You will see an office sign hanging over the porch of the main building; you will go through this door to check in. Check in was super easy, and Leah was very helpful as she gave me a tour of the inn and showed me to my room. The other staff were also very nice and helpful. Check out was super easy, as well. My room had a great view of the marina, and the photos certainly don’t do it justice. I loved being able to watch the boats coming in and out. The room was on the small side, which was fine with me, and it was very clean. The bed was also comfortable, and I slept well. Noise was never an issue. Yes, it can get chilly at night. You are staying on the water. Just request an extra blanket if you need it. Smelling breakfast cooking as I headed downstairs every morning and coming back at night to a plate of homemade cookies added such a nice touch and made the inn feel very homey! Breakfast was delicious and made to order. I definitely recommend the French Toast-hands down! The location is very picturesque, and it’s close to shopping. It’s about 30 minutes or so away from popular attractions, like the Mystic Aquarium, which I also visited and loved. Niantic is a nice little town, and it’s very safe. A tip: If you’re using ride sharing services (i.e., Uber and Lyft) as I mostly did, book your trips in advance as much as possible, since it can be a little more challenging to get an Uber here than in larger cities, like Hartford. I booked almost every trip in advance had very few problems, and they were only minor hiccups. This was my first time staying at a bed and breakfast, and I couldn’t have enjoyed my stay more than I did here. Thank you for a wonderful experience!"
