About The Hotel
Super 8 by Wyndham Milford/New Haven is a 2.3-rated budget property (208 reviews) on Boston Post Road with significant documented cleanliness issues. The lowest nightly rate in Milford at $69 makes it attractive only for the most budget-conscious travelers. Location is genuinely convenient—within walking distance of the Milford Mall, restaurants, the train station, and downtown. However, 2025 reviews and photos document bedbugs, mold, burn holes in sheets, broken outlets, and a toilet that shot dirty water on the floor. The advertised continental breakfast consists of old bananas and store-bought buns with weak coffee. Sub-ratings sit at 2.6 for cleanliness and 2.4 for rooms. No in-room jacuzzi is listed in current amenities. This property should be considered only as a last-resort budget option.
What Guests Are Saying
“Close to the mall, food, train station, and downtown. You can stay without a car as everything is within walking distance. It is good for a few nights — nothing fancy, but clean and convenient on that visit.” — Hiren C, 5 stars
“This hotel is in need of renovations badly. The continental breakfast advertised was just old bananas and Texas buns from the store, with coffee that tasted like hot brown water. Not a family environment.” — Antwan W, 1 star
“The bathrooms were not clean, the rooms were dirty and smelled like smoke, with burn holes in the sheets, broken outlets, and a TV that did not work. People were trying to get in our room at 3 a.m. and part of our group slept in the vehicle in a poorly-lit parking lot.” — shannon b, 1 star

What guests are saying about Super 8 by Wyndham Milford New Haven.
"Surprised by some of the other reviews; of course this is not a luxury hotel, if it were it wouldn't be so affordable. We appreciated that the management team is very accomodating of requests where they can be. They even mentioned weekly rates. It's good to be able to interact with "someone you can work with"--makes all the difference. Great location right of 95: you can walk to any sort of international cuisine and/or shopping."

View on Google"We stayed here for one night to go to a concert in Bridgeport. The reviews had us a little worried. But... We had a great experience with the gentleman at the desk. We got to our room and it was clean and smelled good. The beds are so comfy. I'd stay here again in the future. Great price(for a weekend night) and convenient location!!"
