What Guests Are Saying

“Very positive experience! Was a little home away from home for a few days! Heather and Celeste made it especially comfortable! Great staff and accommodations! Highly recommend!” — Jen C., 5 stars

“Great location, close to highway, Hartford and Buckland Hills Mall. Hotel was clean, quiet and well-equipped. Would stay there again if in the area.” — Joan S., 5 stars

“We were giving a handicap room which we did not request! The beds were horrible, pillows were flat as can be. Room smelled like there was once a smoker there. Bathroom had a leak from toilet when I told the gentleman at desk his reply was thanks for letting us know!! The elevator floor was filthy never vacuumed. The bed skirt had black marks along it. Sink took forever to drain. Told about construction after we were booked, entrance to hotel was blocked for construction, side door was unlocked not very safe. Very disappointed for a Marriott!” — b624b, 3 stars

"Stayed here in the middle of relocating summer 2025 several times and I had very good stays. Rooms are a little small, but they are well appointed and very clean. I agree with other reviews that the staff and service here are excellent. I really like the little bistro and the happy hour at 5 PM every day and being able to just go downstairs and get a bite and a craft cocktail or a glass of wine and I didn’t mind paying for a good cup of Starbucks coffee in the morning either and a nice breakfast. Some of the rooms have a nice little balcony. The indoor pool is clean and very nice along with the fitness center. I did laundry here it was very convenient and the little store is open 24 hours if you need something in a pinch. It’s such a great location you could walk right over to the mall at Buckland Hills Walmart Macy’s Everything is right across the street."

"This is biased because I frequent marriotts. This Marriott is clean and tidy. Although I don’t know how I feel about the orange theme they have going on. Otherwise, the hotel is on par with what we’ve come to expect from the Marriott brand. I recommend a stay."
