“5 out of 5. Best inn ever!! We absolutely loved our stay here. The location is great and it’s easy to explore the main street or drive to neighboring towns. Our room was cozy and comfortable and we loved how the inn was decorated for Halloween. The jacuzzi was a great touch as well and was able to fit both myself and my girlfriend. There was so much outdoor space too all cutely decorated, bunnies in the yard and lots of sitting space. The breakfast was so amazing and Michael was able to even accommodate us when we had to eat a bit earlier. Everything was fresh and delicious, even the teas were great quality and loose leaf like I like. The inn was the highlight of our trip and we’re already looking forward to staying again!” — Neal C., 5 stars

"The latest of my many stays at this superb bed and breakfast. Even better than before thanks to recent renovations that kept the room’s coziness and added more convenience. The location is ideal for walking to Madison’s Main Street merchants or close enough to I-95 to explore further afield. The owner made dinner reservations for me at great local restaurants. And his freshly made breakfasts are extraordinary — worth the trip for this alone! Highly recommended."

"Going to Madison, CT, and looking for lodging? Stay at the Scranton Seahorse Inn; you will be happily and unconditionally satisfied. Our stay at the Scranton Seahorse Inn was OUTSTANDING! Everything was so well arranged by Michael, the proprietor of this fine establishment who was/is at the highest level of his game. My wife's family has been coming to Madison since 1929 and own property there. In the 30 years that we've been coming to Madison, this is the first time we could not stay at the family house. We stumbled onto the Scranton Seahorse Inn so we would be close by the family. Wow, Michael, you hit it out of the park with making us feel so welcome. Your breakfast masterpieces were obviously prepared with loving care and attention to detail with each presented serving. I enjoyed every delicious breakfast with an absolute delight. I regret my poor planning during my stay on the days that I missed your fine cuisine. Truly a wonderful stay. Thank you, Michael."

"We had to attend a wedding approximately four miles away, thank goodness that property "Cottages" were booked. Scranton Seahorse was next on our list. What a great experience!! Michael is a great innkeeper. The rooms we stayed in was the Seahorse and The Long Island Mist. Both rooms were super clean. The Seahorse is where my wife and I stayed. The breakfast was really good. Also, the town itself is literally down the road. Michael is very accommodating. Highly recommended."
