“My wife and I have stayed at Stanton House a number of times over the years, and each visit gets better. Stanton House is a beautifully appointed classic bed and breakfast that has so much to offer on so many levels. The staff are always improving the rooms and the comfort level. We once again enjoyed a room on the second floor that overlooks the front yard. It’s beginning to feel like “our room” as the decor, the amenities and comfort level are perfect for us. We’re from Florida so we were happy that we were able to keep the room warm. This visit to Stanton House was extra special because of Vish who made us feel like family returning home. He is the model of hospitality and could not have been more helpful with all of our needs and answering our questions, serving the delicious breakfast or bringing us together with other guests who have now become friends. “What can I say!!! This inn is beautiful, the furnishings in the two downstairs is in keeping with the period of the Inn.The staff are all lovely and friendly ,nothing was too much trouble for them Iwas in room 38 at the top of the inn and once again the room was decorated to the period although certain things were modern especially the bathroom with a walk in shower unit. The bed and bedding were superb and I had no trouble falling asleep. The Inn was kept spotless. There was a good choice of breakfast. The Inn is in a good position to the town centre which is great if you don’t drive. “We loved our overnight stay at Stanton House Inn! First, the inn and grounds are really lovely. The mansion is a stately beauty and the grounds are gorgeous with an amazing old copper beech tree, lots of lush and diverse plants and several different seating areas to allow guest privacy. There is also a beautiful huge pool and patio area. It’s a really cool mix of the historic and the modern! We stayed in room 3 which is a few stone steps down into a nicely furnished, good sized, clean and comfortable room. We picked up dinner and enjoyed it with a bottle of wine on the small patio table in privacy under the stars. Perfect vacation night! I was very appreciative to be able to bring our dog - thank you, Stanton House Inn! Due to our dog, we couldn’t take advantage of the pool or breakfast, but it all looked lovely, and we would 10/10 return again!
