What Guests Are Saying

“Pleasantly surprised by this place. Checked in by the very pleasant Christine. There were a lot of free treats (cookies; ice cream bars (yum!) and drinks (coffee; shasta soft drinks) . Room was pristine but fireplace did not work. There was no safe in the room (why?!). Bed was very comfortable & ample towels in bathroom area. However, there was no cosmetic mirror which is always annoying. Street noise was non-existent (we were not facing highway). Although it got no use this time, there was a great kitchenette with good size fridge with freezer, stove-top, and a dishwasher. Cutlery and dishes were available in ample cabinet space. We did not use the pool. The buffet “hot” breakfast was pretty good. The coffee (“bold”) was excellent and very hot and good and strong. You can toast bagels, toast and make fresh waffles. There were green apples too. There were hot scrambled eggs & egg and cheese muffins that were pre-packaged. Shout out to the woman caring for and tending the breakfast buffet. It was very clear that she took great pride in her work which did not go unnoticed. She kept the counters and food areas immaculate and well-stocked.” — annarchynyc, 5 stars

“I chose to stay at the Residence Inn because it was going to be a long two week work trip and I wanted the comfort of a kitchen and a bedroom versus just a bed in a room with a microwave. I had a whole kitchen (4 stove top burner and an oven)! Being a single female by myself I also wanted to make sure it was a safe location and that it was clean. The Residence Inn was clean, safe, and accommodating. Anytime I needed anything they were quick to help out and did so kindly! My only feedback, is being that I am gluten intolerant, I would love to see more choices and options that I would be able to safely eat. I know that it’s a stretch but it would be nice. 💕However, for anyone without a gluten allergy, they had manyyyyyyy great choices! Also, I am never a fan of hotel coffee, but theirs was pretty good and always well stocked and hot!!! That to me is more important than breakfast most times lol. Overall, I give my stay a 5 out of 5! 🙌🏽” — Tara-Jeanette P., 5 stars

“I had a great stay at this Residence Inn. The staff was friendly the several times I interacted with them. My room was clean and comfy with plenty of room to settle in! Breakfast was included and offered a wide selection including hot eggs and sausage, and fresh fruit. I’ll definitely be back when I am return to town on my next trip!” — Erik S., 5 stars

"I had such a great stay at the Residence Inn Danbury! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they went above and beyond to make both me and my dog feel right at home. It’s so nice to find a truly pet-friendly hotel where animals are genuinely welcomed, not just tolerated. Highly recommend."
