About The Hotel

Rates on request — a top-rated, adults-only village B&B. The Woodstocker is a 4.9-rated adults-only B&B (over 1,000 reviews) on River Street, run by owner-hosts who are legendary for their attention to detail. Rooms are immaculate and tastefully decorated; breakfasts are famously generous; and afternoon cookies (the chocolate shortbread is a beloved staple) are included. The library lounge is a relaxed gathering spot. It’s a small property that books well ahead, especially during foliage season, and pricing is premium. But for couples seeking an impeccable, welcoming escape with a famous breakfast just a short walk from the green, it’s a top choice.

What Guests Are Saying

“Me and my husband went to spend some alone time and celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. We stayed from December 31st -January 3rd. I can not say enough about this place, it was so clean, quiet, just perfect in every way. From the moment we for there all our needs were met, from breakfast in our room (which was without a doubt 5 star) to playing scramble and enjoying tea in the library. The location is in just walking distance to the town and restaurants, the owners were always ready to help with any needs. I highly recommended and we will absolutely be visiting again.” — Corrina R., 5 stars

“Wonderful stay at the Woodstocker! Location is PERFECT! If you are going during peak season, the traffic is crazy in town. We were so thankful to be able to park at the inn and walk most places. The room was a very nice size and tastefully decorated. They had everything you could possibly need! The breakfast was off the chart! So good!!! Cookies in the afternoon were a nice treat. My favorite was the shortbread with chocolate..I am going to try to make myself! Highly recommend!” — lettielou, 5 stars

“The Woodstocker was exactly what we hoped it would be, from the charming b&b itself to its attentive owners. It felt as though every care had been taken to make our stay special. If we stay in Woodstock again, it will be at the Woodstocker.” — James H., 5 stars

"What a great find! Our suite was beautifully appointed, with high end bath products, a spacious living room and a 2-person sauna. We enjoyed a fabulous breakfast delivered to our suite each morning, with the pancakes being a favorite. So good! The owners were also very responsive to any requests. Would happily stay at the Woodstocker again!"

"My husband and I got married during the height of COVID, so we never took our honeymoon and instead planned an epic New England adventure this year for our 5 year anniversary. The adventure started at The Woodstocker B&B. From the moment we checked into The Morgan Horse Suite we simply felt at home. The room was clean, comfortable, extremely private and quiet and just perfect. Karim and Isabelle achieved the perfect balance of privacy and hospitality, checking with us everyday to ensure we were comfortable and making recommendations while giving us privacy. The location of the Inn was so perfect… within walking distance of town and very drivable to all of the nearby attractions (cheese trail, hiking, Quechee, VINS, Plymouth, restaurants, breweries etc). To be honest, my husband and I would have been perfectly content staying here the entire trip. The coffee, fresh breakfasts, amenities etc made this stay our favorite stop in our New England adventure. I would 100% recommend staying here any time you consider visiting the beautiful state of Vermont! I hope we are blessed enough to return soon! Thank you Karim and Isabelle for providing us with an absolutely unforgettable experience and a home away from home!"
