“Four Chimneys is a classic Vermont inn. The staff is amazingly professional, but also friendly and helpful. We happened to book one of the carriage house rooms and it was above and beyond our expectations. Very large, decorated beautifully, just a wonderful place to be. The complementary breakfast was delicious, and the inn offered other very nice amenities, as well. I am sorry to say I didn’t get her name, but there is a young lady with red hair who works there who is amazing; going completely out of her way to make your stay as wonderful as possible. There were very small things we needed help with or corrected and she helped us and anticipated what else we might need even before we realized it. “We had a happy and relaxing stay at this very charming inn. The room was very comfortable: romantic and warm with a wood-burning fireplace. A nice breakfast was included. “This is a lovely inn in a beautiful setting just off the beaten path, although you can be in the heart of Bennington in just 2 minutes. The innkeeper, Kate, was very nice and the room was well appointed and very comfortable. Although there were other guests at the inn, it was very quiet at night and we slept well.
