Hampton Inn Bennington
"A 4.3-rated chain hotel with pool, free breakfast, and family amenities—dated building but reliable service."
About The Hotel
From $188/night — a full-service chain hotel with a pool and free hot breakfast. Hampton Inn Bennington is a 4.3-rated hotel offering predictable amenities (pool, breakfast, parking, fitness center) and reliable, friendly staff. The building is dated and worn, with recurring reports of tired furniture, musty odors, and stained carpets; rooms are uneven in condition. Best for families and road-trippers prioritizing amenities over inn character, especially during off-season. Fall foliage and event weekends see steep rate spikes and strict cancellation policies. Expect basic but comfortable beds and spacious rooms; some lack in-room fridges and full daily housekeeping.
What Guests Are Saying
“Very comfortable and quiet hotel. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfasts were typical of motels, neither really good or bad.” — Alan N., 5 stars
“This was a nice hotel. It was clean. The small pool was nice. The breakfast was better than expected. The staff were very helpful. The beds were very comfortable. The small patio needs more furniture. Location is close to Bennington college.” — J D., 4 stars
“I have mixed opinion about this hotel. The room is clean, but there is no refrigerator in the room and the Wi-Fi is in need of upgrading, which apparently they are going to do. There is only one elevator. I feel that it is a little pricy for a Monday in June, but I guess that’s the way it is in Vermont. I imagine that autumn pricing is even higher.” — Fivestroke, 3 stars

"Hi! I visited at the end of September. They had a drought in the area, so the fall colorsvery starting to be vibrant. They have wifi, but once you're off wifi, this whole street becomes a dead zone for cell service."

View on Google"Went skiing at Mount Snow, amazing mountain if your staying here yall should really go there! Pool was sadly closed when we got there, but second day we were staying it opened, so yeah that was fun! Room was not fancy but not boring either, normal room. I loved they had a sauna near the pool, didn’t see no hot tub though, pool was a little cold, but there was a gym next to it! The place had great breakfast and a nice place to eat it. Chipotle and some stores were next to it too, very great!"
