What Guests Are Saying
“What a beautiful historic Inn in a perfect location. Just a few minutes walk from the harbour, restaurants bars and shops. The standards are really high at the Serenity, the rooms are spotlessly clean, we had room 10 which is on the 3rd (top) floor we had a terrace with seating and a lovely view. Breakfast is unique, they tell you each day what’s on offer and it’s lovely! Always ask if somethings not to your liking as very likely they can accommodate your needs. Loved Newport. Of course there are the mansions which are a must see but be sure to wander all around Newport … it’s lovely!” — karenm2607, 5 stars

What guests are saying about Serenity Inn Newport.
"My partner and I stayed here for Labor Day weekend and found the inn to be wonderful. The location was quiet and only steps from the middle of Thames Street. We stayed in room 8 which has gorgeous windows and plenty of space. The on site staff were kind and attentive, especially Ashley! The owner and staff do an excellent job of maintaining the inn. It’s a beautiful old home that presents freshly with shows no signs of wear and tear. We especially loved the breakfasts and time on the patio enjoying our morning coffee surrounded by gorgeous flowers. Highly recommend Serenity Inn and can’t wait for our next visit."

View on Google"What a great experience. This inn has it all: great location, delicious breakfast, beautiful rooms and an exceptional innkeeper. The only mild negative is that you hear noise from the other rooms, BUT even that is addressed with the addition of white noise as part of the clock in the room. The parking lot is pretty tiny, but the fact that there IS parking is another big plus, a rarity in Newport. Easy, short walk to Thames, Memorial Blvd and Bellevue. Hoping that there will be a room available next time we head to town, as this will now be my first choice!"

View on Google"We chose Room #2 with Victorian furnishings and a working gas fireplace as our home away from home in Newport. We were out each day touring mansions and walking along the waterfront and the cliff walk so we were happy to spend the evenings enjoying wine and cheese by the fireplace. A full breakfast in the elegant dining room each morning was a perfect start to each day. Housekeeper Lisa oriented us on a map of the area with recommendations for restaurants. Lisa went above and beyond storing my home cooked lasagna (that we were giving to our Grandson at Providence College later in the week) in the kitchen refrigerator. I will definitely recommend the Serenity Inn to all our friends."
