“We stayed at the Inn of Long Wharf in a beautiful one-bedroom unit. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the resort had many nice amenities. The location couldn’t be better. “What a shame that the Inn on Long Wharf has deteriorated to the point it has. The carpet has not been cleaned in the 10 years since I was there last! This, apparently attracted insects, which we had to deal with hourly. Next time I am in Newport, this will be the last place to check on my list. During our visit, we encountered a minor issue with our room key, but Giovanna handled it with grace and professionalism, resolving it quickly and ensuring we felt cared for throughout. View on Google"The view and location would be enough to recommend this spot, but throw in the amenities and huge rooms and you have a winning combo. You are a five minute walk to Thames st where all the action is. The Cliff Walk is 1.5 miles away, but bus 67 is 5 minutes away. Some of the freshest lobster rolls are 2 minutes away at the crab shack. The view is amazing of the harbor and the windows are large to allow you to enjoy it. The list of amenities is long, but some noteworthy ones are the indoor and outdoor pool that is open year round from 8am-10pm. If you need to do laundry, that is free and they give you detergent. A full size fridge, and a super comfy bed. The room is large with the bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette, and living space. More than enough for two people. Would highly recommended and go back."
