Almondy Inn
"Near-perfect 4.9-rated Victorian B&B with jacuzzi rooms, lavish breakfasts, and exceptional service in Historic Hill."
About The Hotel
The Almondy Inn earns a near-perfect 4.9 rating across 795 reviews for warm, gracious hospitality and immaculate upkeep. It’s a Victorian bed-and-breakfast on Pelham Street in the Historic Hill—a quiet neighborhood that sits perfectly between the harbor (downhill walk) and Bellevue Avenue’s mansions (uphill walk). Jacuzzi-and-fireplace rooms anchor the romantic appeal, and multi-course, lavish breakfasts plus afternoon wine and cheese hour set a convivial tone. Owners Brian and the team are known for attentiveness and thoughtful details. Honest notes: rates are quoted on request and it books far ahead in peak season; the property is historic (some stairs, varied room sizes); and it’s best for adults and couples, not families. This is a gold-standard romantic inn experience in Newport.

"Absolutely amazing! We celebrated my daughter’s birthday at the almondy inn. Shelby and Jermome were so accommodating from the time of check in. As being our first time visiting Newport, they were so helpful navigating us the best way to our choice of attractions. Including best routes and free bus service. I will truly miss waking up to the smell of an elegant breakfast, afternoon cookies and evening cheese and wine. It was perfect, looking forward to celebrating with almondy inn in the near future."

Actually, I woke up to the savory smell of bacon and sweet pastries. The inn was spotless and charming in a location that was a convenient walk to shops and restaurants. It'll be our go to whenever we're in Newport."

Our host Jerome offered us a glass of champagne to celebrate our anniversary and also sent some to our room with a lovely card. Situated close to just about everything, yet quiet, private and elegant, the inn was such a find. Breakfast was delicious and the freshly baked cookies each afternoon were to die for!!! The next day we were greeted by our second host Shelby, who provided us with beach chairs, great information on where to take our bikes, and restaurant recommendations that were spot on. This is an inn we will definitely come back to and spread the word to friends and family!!"
