“We almost stayed at the Adelphi Hotel because, strangely enough, it was actually less expensive for our dates. But something about Saratoga Arms kept pulling us in, and I am so glad we decided to try it because it absolutely delivered and honestly exceeded expectations. From the second we arrived, the level of hospitality stood out. We were greeted so warmly, almost as if we were the only guests there, with the manager appearing to personally welcome us as well. After being escorted to our rooms, the manager came right to the door with complimentary Prosecco for the adults and mocktails for our two teenage boys, which immediately set the tone for the stay. We booked the Broadway Bites & Sips package, which included a $50 dining credit to a DZ restaurant (Chianti, Forno, or Boca Bistro), welcome cocktails/mocktails on the front porch, and breakfast each morning. We highly recommend Chianti for dinner. The food was exceptional. Breakfast each morning at Saratoga Arms was equally impressive and served on the stunning front porch, which became one of our favorite parts of the trip. Sitting there in the morning with coffee, beautifully prepared food, and the atmosphere of Broadway right in front of you was such a relaxing and memorable experience. The hotel itself is spotless and absolutely beautiful. There is an elegant sitting room and game room with game tables, books and someone is always around asking if you need anything or offering refreshments. Both have fireplaces. One evening, after coming back from dinner, my husband and I sat by the fire in the front sitting room and played Yahtzee. It was one of those simple moments that made the stay memorable. The complimentary snack area is incredibly well stocked with candy, salty snacks, seltzer, soda, water, and more, and near the entrance there was always lemonade, iced tea, coffee, and other drinks available throughout the day. They truly go out of their way to make guests feel welcomed and cared for. Our room was a double since we traveled with our 17- and 18-year-old sons, and it was surprisingly spacious. We always worry about feeling cramped when traveling together at this stage of life, but not here. The room was much larger than expected, and honestly, the online photos do not do it justice. The bathroom was huge, spotless, beautifully stocked, and filled with oversized fluffy white towels, even makeup towels. The room also included complimentary water, Saratoga sparkling water, and four chocolate truffles, which was such a nice touch. Security also deserves mention. We felt extremely comfortable and secure throughout the stay. Another huge plus was the designated parking directly across the street, which made coming and going incredibly easy and convenient in such a busy area. This is absolutely the place to stay in Saratoga Springs. Thoughtful service, beautiful accommodations, exceptional food, genuine hospitality, and so many small details done right. “If you’re looking for a luxurious, but comfortable, relaxing getaway, this is the place you want to be! This was our second visit to Saratoga Arms and it was just as perfect as we had previously experienced. The staff and property are both exceptional. Once again, we made our reservation to include the breakfast each morning and it is definitely worth the extra money. One morning we ate in the elegant dining room, the next we ate on the nicely appointed front porch. We highly recommend either for a delightful start to your day! Prior to our visit, we received an email asking if we had any special requests as well as how we would like the temperature in our room, what size robes to be in the closet, expected time of arrival, etc. This is the attention to detail that you don’t find at other resorts and make such a difference. It makes us feel that they are just as excited to see us as the other way around! During our visit, every staff member we interacted with was helpful, kind and professional. Britanny & Adam at the reception area, Concierge Sarah, along with the wonderfully hospitable mother/daughter dynamic duo Kathleen & Amy made this getaway so enjoyable for us. “We just returned from a 5 day stay at this charming 5 star boutique hotel. We have stayed at 5 star luxury hotels and didn’t receive the treatment we had here. All of the staff is amazing with special shout out to Sara the concierge! She communicated prior to our visit had all our arrangements procured and made wonderful recommendations to make our trip memorable. The hotel was spotless and the breakfast delicious with many options. They provided snacks for free all day and had a morning coffee service and an afternoon refreshment service. Their cocktails were yummy too! Before we arrived they a question on what temperature we want room, type of bedding, robe size and what we like to drink. Mrs Kathleen Smith, the proprietor, took time to mingle with the guests and was very interesting, informative and engaging. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return.
