What Guests Are Saying

“As a hotel snob that cannot stay anywhere I was beyond pleased with the Kimberly Hotel. Five star service in a four star hotel! Kimberly management, whatever you are doing, do not stop. Housekeeping was amazing! Room was spotless. This is the first hotel I have ever been in where it was clean under the beds!!!! (OCD travellers, you know what I am talking about!) Clean, clean, clean. No dust, no random hairs, clean. Nice sized room for NYC with coffee makers in room. The only negative was the Hotel driver Manuel, he was extremely rude from the moment we met him. I hope hotel management has a talk with him or reaches out to me because this man should not be in a job where he interacts with people regularly. Especially working for the Kimberly where everyone was warm, friendly, and welcoming. Manuel was the only rude person we met our entire stay in NYC. I will still be back. Thank you Kimberly!” — Julie D., 5 stars

“11 nights accommodation. The overall rating was perfect, including the size of the rooms, the helpful staff, the ability to respond quickly to requests, and the location. I especially liked the fact that I could put it in the air-conditioning vent to dry the laundry, that I had a hot tub, that I had a microwave, coffee machine, toaster and dishwasher to cook food I had bought in my neighborhood trejo, and that the top floor penthouse was open to the public from 11am on weekdays to provide free coffee and bread. There is an elevator at the subway glue entrance nearby to handle heavy loads with ease. The price is relatively reasonable because the stay was between Memorial Day and the World Cup. I’ve been in New York for three years in a row and I’m confident that this hotel is for sure. I’ll definitely be back next year.” — 信原 吾., 5 stars

“We loved this place. We first got a studio room, which was very inadequate, next to the elevator, and looking out on the side of a brick building across the street. But they upgraded us for $50 more a night into a suite and it was lovely. It’s a very old school place, with attentive service, and the little extras that used to be common in good hotels and are now totally uncommon. But at the Kimberly, it’s as if you’re back in the 1950s and in the best way. The location is also great because it’s near MOMA, 20 blocks from the Met, and a 20 minute walk from Broadway. The Park is also close by.” — mdwmd, 5 stars

"The hotel staff is amazing; attentive, caring, and went above and beyond! Every staff member we encountered was extremely helpful. We were treated like we were the only guests in the hotel. Arian and Denise in the Lounge upstairs were extremely accommodating and efficient at breakfast service. The rooms, especially the suites, were nicely decorated and very roomy. Cleaning staff would return each day and made their cleaning schedule convenient for us. Our room was cleaned every day (thoroughly) in spite of our irregular schedule! I highly recommend this hotel (and its location is a bonus)! We will definitely be returning."

"Our first trip to New York and we were nervous. Being from Kentucky and not spending much time in large cities, we were not sure of the people, the hotel, and how do we get around...lots and lots of worries. No need to worry at all..from the first contact with our reservation agent (Alvin)at the hotel, till the hugs given when we got picked up on our last day by Uber; The Kimberly Hotel was the BEST! The staff was amazing and treated us with kindness and love. We loved, loved our doorman Harry and his stories. Miri and his restaurants/bars were amazing and we got to share some bourbon stories over my first "Manhattan" in Manhattan while looking down on the city from the "Upstairs". The hotel location was awesome as my wife has been in love with the tree in Rockefeller plaza for years and also her favorite morning show "The Today Show". A short walk up 50th and we would be there in just a few minutes. Also, the number 6 Subway line was just around the corner and from there you could be anywhere in New York with just a short subway hop. We'll be back in 2 years as we missed a few things on our "to do' list. Thanks again to all the staff and management at The Kimberly!!"

"5 star experience on every level!! From the moment we walked in we were greated with a warm welcome. The ladies and gents at the front deak & concierge were so helpful and offered local fare suggestions. The support staff was always ready to help with everything and anything you needed..they anticipated our every need and delivered top notch service. We are foodies and I have to complement the restaurant (Bistango) - food and service was amazing. Rooms, ambiance, rooftop and over all space was all favored. We had a one bedroom suite and it was so spacious and cozy. The balcony was the best and a huge plus! I feel like it is hard to go anywhere and have a 5 star experience....but if you go to the Kimberly, its just a given. Cheers to everyone for making our stay truly one of a kind. Looking forward to seeing you again soon."
