What Guests Are Saying

“I stayed for four nights in May on business in room 503, which opened directly onto the Temple Court-style atrium. Some noise from below did carry up into the room, but overall I found the space comfortable, spacious, and very well laid out. The room included both a proper desk and a separate table, along with a large wardrobe, which made it functional for a longer business stay. The water pressure and temperature were excellent, the Wi-Fi worked reliably throughout my stay, and I appreciated that a steamer was already provided in the room. The location was also extremely convenient. Several subway lines are within a couple of blocks, making it very easy to get around the city efficiently. On a Friday afternoon with particularly bad traffic, I was able to take the train directly to JFK, which ended up being a major advantage. My primary frustration was that the included $100 food and beverage credit could not be applied toward room service, which felt unnecessarily restrictive. Breakfast, included through my Virtuoso rate, was perfectly acceptable, though not especially memorable. What truly stood out, however, was the concierge team. Prior to arrival, they provided one of the best concierge outreach emails I’ve ever received, including an exceptionally thoughtful and well-curated list of nearby restaurants, amenities, and recommendations. It materially improved the experience of staying in the area.” — Txtex, 5 stars

“Great experience at the Beekman - second visit there and it’s consistently good. The front desk staff was super responsive - Alan in particular was very helpful and professional.” — MG, 5 stars

“Wonderful site, excellent service at all levels. Delicious food. Matt from the bar room was the best. Doormen and limo driver are tops.” — doctorjon, 5 stars

"I had an incredible experience at the Beekman Hotel. We stayed there for a city hall wedding, and it was an exceptional experience. The staff was incredibly courteous and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. They were always willing to help and make suggestions. The rooms were spotless, and the daily cleaning services made it feel like we had just arrived to the room each day. The vibrant atmosphere of the hotel maintained a high standard of service throughout our stay. The hotel administration and staff were very helpful in planning our wedding photoshoot. Overall, I would give the Beekman Hotel a perfect score of 5 out of 5. My wife and I had a wonderful time there and will definitely be returning in the future."

"I visited the bar at the Beekman Thompson in New York City, and the experience was polished, elegant, and genuinely enjoyable. The atmosphere had that classic, upscale New York charm—warm lighting, beautiful architecture, and a comfortable vibe that made it easy to settle in for a relaxed evening. The service was attentive and smooth, with staff who made sure we had everything we needed without hovering. We ordered drinks that were well-balanced, beautifully crafted, and arrived quickly, which really added to how seamless the night felt. We also tried the profiterole, and while the pastry itself was light and tasty, it didn’t come with any chocolate sauce, which was a small disappointment. Still, the overall quality of the bar, the presentation, and the ambiance more than made up for it. The space worked perfectly for conversation, and despite being a stylish spot, it never felt overcrowded or chaotic. Overall, it’s a great place for a classy night out—solid drinks, thoughtful service, a luxurious atmosphere, and the kind of setting that makes an evening feel special even with a small hiccup."

"My stay at The Beekman was absolutely amazing. The hotel is beyond beautiful and has this special, unforgettable charm that makes the whole experience feel elevated. From the atmosphere to the design, everything is stunning. It is one of those places that truly blows you away the moment you walk in. We were celebrating our anniversary and received a complimentary upgrade to a corner suite, which was such a lovely surprise. The room was large for a New York hotel room and the interior sound proofing was great, although you can still hear some of the street noise. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the complimentary doughnuts, coffee and apple cider were delicious. They also gave us two drink tickets for the historical first floor bar, which was such a fun touch and the cocktails were amazing. I highly recommend The Beekman if you want a stay that feels luxurious and memorable. The photo I am adding speaks for itself."
