What Guests Are Saying

“We enjoyed this property for 3 nights before moving to Midtown for a few nights. The best thing about this hotel was the location. Its phenomenal. This property is steps away from all of the shopping of Soho and has a Subway station a few feet from the main entrance. The hotel has a small Lobby with a small store for drinks and snacks. The rooms are not huge including the room with two Queen beds. This is typical for anywhere in Manhattan. That said, we managed with a family of Four. Los Tacos No. 1, Lucia’s Pizza of Soho, and Bubby’s (Breakfast) are all awesome dining options steps from the lobby.” — JB S., 5 stars

“Excellent location, the metro is next to the main door of the hotel. Walking you can reach the Piers walking where you find a spectacular view, all that part is beautiful. On the other hand although it is 10 minutes from Soho walking, there are parts you meet people on the way not very nice. The rooms are clean and comfortable.” — APMQUITO, 5 stars

“Good location and a decent size room for NYC. The hotel is clean and our room and bed were in good condition. The only complaint was 1 of two elevators were not working, so we found ourselves walking up / down the stairs to our room on the third floor to avoid a long wait for the elevator.” — Traveling543, 5 stars

"I have not stayed this far downtown before and was unsure about the hotel given some of the reviews but I was very satisfied with my stay. The room was large and clean; some people have said theirs were outdated but I was comfortable. The only issue of note was a torn shower curtain for which I would only give a half star off if I was able; if we had asked I'm sure housekeeping would have replaced it. The bed and linens were very comfortable and we sprung for a view of the neighborhood which was great for people watching. There was only one elevator in operation during our stay though I didn't find it as slow as others had described, we had a worse experience at the midtown location. The hotel is easy enough to get to from Grand Central via the subway, though you will have to walk a few blocks on either end depending on what line you take. Having the ACE station right outside the hotel was fantastic and will have you in midtown within 15 minutes. Chinatown and little Italy were only a short walk away. We didn't interact with staff much but they were always friendly, while we were there they put out a free hot chocolate bar and held our bags for several hours after checkout without issue. 9.5 / 10 would recommend and stay here again :)"
