What Guests Are Saying
“This is my first review on TripAdvisor, and I honestly couldn’t have picked a better place to start. Cleanliness (5/5) The hotel was exceptionally clean. Everything felt fresh, well-maintained, and cared for. Very nice furnitures and bed. Location (5/5) If you want to stay in SoHo, this is simply the best possible location. You’re surrounded by fantastic breakfast spots, lunch options, and great restaurants for dinner - and there’s something for every budget. You truly can’t ask for better positioning. Service (5/5) The service level was the best I have ever experienced (and I’ve stayed at my fair share of 5* properties). From the doormen recognizing you by name, to reception, to the concierge - every single touchpoint felt personal and thoughtful. The attention to detail for both me and my family was exceptional. I’ve stayed in many 5-star properties - most recently the Ritz-Carlton NoMad and The Fifth Avenue Hotel here in New York - and the service here (Crosby Street) was on another level. Value for Money (5/5) It’s an expensive place to stay - no doubt about it. But you absolutely get what you pay for in terms of location, service, and overall experience. Sleep Quality (5/5) The bedding was incredibly comfortable. Coming directly from another 5-star property, the difference was noticeable. I slept with one of our children and my wife slept with the other, and we were all impressed by both the comfort of the beds and the quietness of the rooms. We slept extremely well. Rooms (5/5) If there’s one area where there’s minor room for improvement, it would be some of the interior details. You can see that certain elements, like the doors and some amenities, are a bit dated. The same goes for some of the furniture (e.g., the table in the room). I would consider updating some of the smaller details such as soaps, shampoo, power outlets, and especially the hairdryer (which felt quite old and outdated). When I mention the doors, it’s simply that from the inside they reflect that they are likely 10+ years old. They were absolutely not a problem for us - but if anything were to be refreshed, this would be the place to start.” — the_review, 5 stars
“I first went to this hotel May 2025 for my daughters college graduation. I loved it so much that I booked it again for my stay April 2026. Place did not disappoint. I had arrived 20 minutes before formal check in. I was feeling a bit faint from not having eaten anything all day. Front desk staff said it would be 15-20 minutes to finish up my room. In the meantime they set me up in a small living room area off lobby and had a waitress come over from the restaurant within minutes to take my order. My room was on the top floor, with a king bed and they brought in a small bed brought in for my daughter who was visiting me. What makes this place stand out is the service is impeccable, food delicious and I love the quiet elegance of the property. Also great location in SOHO with world class shopping, coffee shops and dining at your finger tips.” — kim F., 5 stars
“Incredibly well-run hotel. We were celebrating our daughter’s 16th bday and booked two adjoining rooms on a top floor. The rooms (and the entire hotel) were designed beautifully. The staff was something else.. they were always there, but not there, if you can understand that. Always helpful, super friendly, we never felt like we were in a snobby hotel. Housekeeping was something else, we were always amazed at how impeccable our rooms looked when we got back every night. Our floor had many security cameras, which made us feel safe. The hotel is also located in a great area of Soho -walking distance from great restaurants, shops, and the subway. The Crosby has become our go-to place to stay when visiting NYC.” — JDL1889, 5 stars

What guests are saying about Crosby Street Hotel.
"I’m in NYC mostly monthly for work and I’ve had a favorite hotel for a while (that is also 5 stars and a classic)…. That was before I stayed at The Crosby Hotel this week. Everything was phenomenal. At most hotels, there is usually something that isn’t 100%, but not a big deal so you just ignore it (like less favorite room service or something), this is not the case with The Crosby. The room service menu and service itself is AMAZING, from the presentation (I’m obsessed with their China pattern and the silver cloches are even above the norm) to the food itself. It’s genuinely fresh, delicious food and arrive swiftly. The housekeeping team is perfection. The overall team, from check in to just those holding the door for you as you enter or depart, all phenomenal. The room feels as if you are at home. It’s cozy, comfortable, and decorated to perfection. The shower pressure is amazing, but even the small details (heated towel rack) put it above the others. The storage in the closet (which includes great shelving) + the actual dressers in the room make unpacking an ease. I’ve definitely found my new preferred hotel when I have events at a particular venue close by. Possibly even if it’s across town, as it would be worth the extra commute. I’m excited to try their other properties in other cities as well. I also love that they still have glass bottle diet cokes 😉 it’s the little things."
