What Guests Are Saying
“Our 4th time staying at the Emerson — and definitely not our last! My wife and I stayed here just over a decade ago and fell in love with the place — and each other (we’d only been dating a month, and this was our first getaway together). We have always had a great experience not only in the spacious and well-appointed hotel (or lodge) room but also in the spa, where we’ve enjoyed many massages and hot tub soaks. The surrounding region is wonderful, too, and we were able to hike the new rail trail (walkway) not too far from the Emerson. We also love visiting Phoenicia, including the fantastic Phoenicia Diner, and we spent a day in Woodstock, too. We also spent many meals at the Catamount, the Emerson’s restaurant, and it was especially fun seeing all of the staff in the Christmas jammies and ugly sweaters. Everyone bent over backward to ensure that our stay was as magical as ever.” — David S., 5 stars
“Im currently sitting in front of a gorgeous river in a warm cozy room with a piping hot coffee and mimosa waiting on my breakfast, every single minute of this trip has been absolutely perfect. The entire process (check in, using amenities, spa, meals etc) was made so easy and not once did I feel anything but genuine happiness from the entire staff. Tammy the bartender at catamount (their on site Resturant) and Immelia at the front desk genuinely went above and beyond to make my experience the best possible (along with the rest of the entire staff). Everyone was so kind, the rooms were clean comfortable and cozy and the spa was warm relaxing and very clean.” — Alyssa A., 5 stars
“They went above and beyond !! we have been going to the Emerson for years and this time when we checked in they assured us they had EVERTHING we ever asked for!! Skim milk in the restaurant and by the coffee at the front desk since last time they didn’t have any, wine glasses in our room, thick Terry robes for us… They made it clear to us they know us and want us to enjoy our stay. We always enjoy the large marble bathroom, the fireplace with a sitting area, the balcony overlooking the stream, the breakfast in the lodge, and the fridge stocked with bottles of water. Only thing missing is an indoor pool. We can’t wait to return.” — Caroline G., 5 stars

What guests are saying about Emerson Resort & Spa.
"We had an incredible stay at Emerson Resort and Spa, and honestly, every part of the experience exceeded expectations. We booked last minute, and from start to finish, everything delivered. The location is ideal, especially if you’re planning to ski at Belleayre Mountain. Being so close to the mountain (less than 20 mins) was a huge plus, and having the World’s Largest Kaleidoscope on-site, along with shops, a great restaurant, and an awesome hot tub, made the resort feel like a destination all on its own. The property itself is immaculate, and our Regal King Suite was the perfect place to relax and unwind. Spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, with a fireplace and balcony, it truly elevated the stay! Check-in set the tone right away. Jackie at the front desk was incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming, giving us the full 411 on the resort. Since it was my first time skiing at Belleayre, she went above and beyond to help me navigate the trip, including mapping out the best times to head to the mountain. That extra care made a huge difference. Jordan and Kristine were also so helpful throughout our stay. When my wife wasn’t feeling well, they were incredibly kind and supportive, doing everything they could to make us comfortable. Jonathan, the manager, was equally gracious and welcoming, which really speaks to the level of hospitality here. All in all, this was a wonderful stay at a beautiful property that’s both relaxing and conveniently located. The service, the amenities, and the attention to detail truly stood out. We will 100% be returning, and can’t wait to come back again."

We enjoyed watching snow fall over the river from the outdoor hot tub. Shout out to Amelija at the front desk for being the most hospitable! Her warmth and willingness to provide us with the best service made our stay even better."

View on Google"Spent 3 nights at this luxe resort with my sister in law, and I was so sad to leave! The room was incredible, so spacious and a huge bathroom, beds were very comfortable and the pillows are plentiful and plush. We enjoyed a 2 hour massage as well as a facial treatment at the spa, both of which were top tier (and we're picky). Our biggest highlight was Emilija at the front desk, who drove us to the restaurant in the snow one evening, and brought pizza delivery to our room the next. She went way out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed and then some, what a treasure."
