“I have stayed at the Boro Hotel more times than I can count—each and every time it’s a great stay. The rooms are large, beautifully appointed with very comfortable beds, nice accoutrements including water/nice bathroom accessories etc. The complimentary wine in the evening and coffee in the morning are perfecto! Over my many visits there have bee a few snafu’s which have been handled professionally. I have grown fond of the location as we have family in Greenpoint we need to visit frequently and this is the perfect place. Economic and great location. You really can’t go wrong staying at the Boro. Also, we love that it is family owned and operated. “Amazing view, spacious and clean rooms and a beautiful lobby that smells like what I imagine heaven smells like. It’s close to the train, a couple blocks either way. Staff was friendly and helpful. The only question I have is, where are the washcloths? When we arrived I wanted to wash up a little and there were no washcloths. Asked front desk and some were delivered. Next day, they cleaned the room, replaced towels, no wash clothes again. So I called down and asked and we were delivered hand towels. Do you know how hard it is to bathe using a hand towel? It was the same routine every day of our 4 day stay with hand towels. When I’m paying almost $1700 for a 4 day stay, I would assume the basics would be available. “I live nearby and we’ve been suffering with power outage issues in my building. I booked the hotel last minute for one night and I’m so glad I did. Everyone who works here couldn’t be nicer. I have bad allergies and the front desk made sure to give me a room that hadn’t had a pet in it for a long time. The AC worked great, the bed was comfy, everything was very clean. We had a little balcony, which was nice. The best part is that it was super quiet and great for sleeping. Plus it’s a quick walk to queensboro plaza. We also ate dinner and breakfast at the restaurant and everything was delicious. I will definitely recommend it to people visiting NYC.” — Golda, 5 stars

"Incredibly helpful and friendly staff. The rooms are nice and intentionally simplistic, balconies are great. Stayed here for work for one night in a queen balcony room. There are some small upgrades that could be made to rooms (ex: turn off all lights switch right near the bed). I don’t mind (and knew it was the case bc I read ahead), but no coffee makers or mini fridges in the room unless you request them. A little odd but a workable experience if you plan ahead. It was a nice change of pace to stay at a hotel that uses natural textures and materials (wood, stone, cement, tile) vs. polyester carpet and laminate; I was surprised by how much more relaxed I felt as a result. The restaurant Beebe’s is a decent for “the” option."

View on Google"I had such a wonderful stay here and truly can’t say enough good things about this hotel. From the moment I checked in, the service was exceptional. I wasn’t feeling well and the front desk immediately noticed—within minutes, they sent a tea kettle up to my room without me even asking. Throughout my stay, they were quick to deliver anything I needed, whether it was an iron, a steamer, or just an extra comfort. I was also upgraded to a balcony view room, which was such a nice surprise. The room itself was spotless—no dust, everything tidy, and the entire hotel has a gorgeous, modern aesthetic. It’s also incredibly quiet, which made it easy to get good sleep, especially since I was in town for a wedding and coming back late at night. The on-site restaurant is amazing. The pizza and food in general were incredible, and the happy hour wine is such a perk—guests even get a free glass. There’s also complimentary coffee available almost all day, which I loved. Even when the café was closed late at night, they still went out of their way to make me a hot tea after the wedding events. Overall, the service, comfort, and little thoughtful touches made my stay unforgettable. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, quiet, and genuinely welcoming hotel experience."

View on Google"Beautiful hotel! My absolute favorite in Long Island city with gorgeous rooms! Your security deposit is refunded to your account within minutes of checking out , which is amazing. The staff is so accommodating offering robes, slippers, even makeup mirrors upon request! They even have a “wine hour “ , which entitles a free glass of wine for both you and your travel partner, with the option between red or white wine, between 6-7pm I believe , which is such a nice gesture! Highly recommend!"
